Course Curriculum Overview :
Past few years result and placement of electrical department has been very impressive which influenced me to take this course in this college. This college have well equipped labs and computing infrastructure , practical classes are regularly held for every subject.
Internships Opportunities :
Texas instrument is the company which tied up with the college which provide the many instruments in the lab recently there was a seminar with ultratech cement this is hold by the civil department of the college.
Placement Experience :
6th semester student are eligible for campus placement. Companies like Texas instrument has tied up with the college . Average package is 300000 per annum . Minimum 6.5 cgpa is required if you want seat in the placement . After the degree if I got good placement in any company then I will do job or I will appear for all government services exam.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
The cost of the education including tuition ,service fees and other compulsory charges is about Rs 61000 per year for every course. Scholarship scheme available for student are Dr. Ambedkar medhavi chatravriti yojana for sc student -amount of scholarship is 18000 and Indra gandhi utkrisht chattravriti yojna for post plus two student- amount of scholarship is 18000 . Pm yashassvi yojna for obc student-amount 10000 rs
Campus Life :
Annual function are held in the month of October or November every year . Recently umang festival which was a technical festival was held in our college for three days which promotes the business and cultural activities 20 colleges participated in this festival. Wide range of books and generals are available in library. All the classroom are installed with white board and projector . Every year hptu sports meat is held recently it was held in the month of March for 3 days. I college there is many society every branch has its own society and clubs like electrical society , civil society, electronic society, mechanical society these society organise many fest and competitions.
Hostel Facilities :
Hostel rooms are installed with fans three chair, three table, three bed, three Almirah one for each student, one mirror, balcony, 4 curtains for each room. Per day meal in hostel is 110rs. Registration for hostel is in offline mode which is done during the time of admission process. Hostel are allotted on merit basis.
Admission :
12th passout in pcm. Application form is available on himtu website all the detail of applications form ,fee and dates of application are available on himtu site. There is reservation benefits for sc, st, obc, ews, single girl child, tuition fee waver, kashmiri migrant and backward area. Timing of exam is 3 hours and maximum marks is 600. Admission process for each colleges is in offline mode this can be changed to online mode.
Faculty :
Faculty to student ratio is 25:1 which I think is not good. Their is lack of faculty in some courses. It make bad impact on our learning experience as some classes are sometime cancelled or one teacher have to take classes of more than one subject.
