Course Curriculum Overview

I am structural engineering student , If one want to gain knowlede about the subject they can choose this college .the placement ration of b.tech students are high but less for masters students. Although you can apply on your own to other companies on the basis on knnowldege you gained

Class Size: 25Course Fees: INR 120000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

The fee of 1 year is around 1,20,000 , which means 60,000 per semester. they also provide stipends to the students who have qualified for the gate exam, but it takes time. There is no bus service for the students

Campus Life

there are many activites in college like technical fest , cultural fest , workshops and all one can participate in all of these if he/she wishes to join one can go to library if she/he needs some of the books almost every subject book is availabe there

Admission

Gate-qualified students can easily get admission here, and also students who have scored more than 7.8 cgpa in btech can also get admission. they give admission on basis of either GATE score B.Tech score

Faculty

amazing faculty, well versed with the subject knowledge helps you to learn more , the exam pattern is tough minimum 33.3% is required to clear tha exam its hard to score this much marks also . Exams are very well conducted by faculty

Placement is not quite good .From 3rd semester student become eligible for placement.In my batch only 3 company visited and hardly 5 to 6 placement were made.Highest was 8.9 and lowest was 2.My plan is to work on good sectir where i can grow

Placement Experience:

The placement starts coming at the end of 6th sem or beginning of 7th. You can expect around 15-20 companies to visit. Recently there have been visits by carwale, quantiphi, cognizant, Cape Gemini, Infosys, Kfintech, TCS. All of them had their packages in the range 6-8 lpa. Highest packages reach around 20LPA for a handful of students as one of a good company might visit Like Intuit, Zscaler, Deustche Bank While obviously some students crack off camps and recieve even better options 60-70 percentage of students can get placed here My plans are doing Masters incase I don't get a good enough job.

There are lots of student apply for placements once in a time few got placed but company like tsc capgemeni took mass hiring from college. In 7 or 8 semesters students was allowed to sit in placemnet. Studnets are placed in company got joinning in short perioud of time abd they also provide offer letter to them. I want to get placemnet in good company compnay with higher packages. Like 9 to 10 lpa

In the placement drives student can be eligible in the last semester of the course and there is no particular company that visit regularly because the college has no tie-ups with the companies but management tries to conduct the placement drives with random companies. who offers a maximum of 180000/year. So every year about 25% students get placed in the placement drives.

The college is good in terms of placement and development of students

I have applied to many nits and I got seat in NIT bhopal in electronics and communication branch. But I chose Sgsits cse over nit bhopal ece because I wanted to pursue my career in cse and I have no interest in ece. The admission process of the college is easy . First filling of application through date and then if we get seat we have to report college for the final admission process which is just of 1-2 hours and after fee submission your admission is confirmed. I personally took this college because it is in the city where i live and also it has less fees compare to other colleges with good placement opportunities our college also has very good average package around 14 lakhs . yeah and i also applied in josaa counselling and got some good iiit colleges . but i chose my college because it has less fee than those....Read More
