Course Curriculum Overview :

Teaching is good. I've learned a lot from the teachings provided by the college. It was benificial in many aspects. They should try to opt for more field activities in my opinion and more co curricular activities.

Class Size : 100Course Fees : INR 6500 per year

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

Yearly fees goes to like 6000 to 7000. It is not that high. There should be more scholarships and financial aid that would have been good but overall it was good enough no complaints. I liked it in my opinion

Campus Life :

Technologically the college has upgraded a lot as big screens are installed for seamless studies. Projectors are also available. AC is installed in every class which was awesome. Sports etc are also there

Admission :

Addmission process was easy but I had some difficulties. There was no exam taken as I got direct examination therefore I have no knowledge of the examinations. Cutoff marks is not that high 1st div will do it

Faculty :

Not much to say about the teaching staff they are good. They give time to the students when ever necessary. They are good teachers except 1 or 2. Overall my experience with the teachers is positive enough.

Overall a decent college

Course Curriculum Overview:

I took commerce stream after 10th, so the most obvious choice for me was B.Com.(Hons) because of it's wide scope and applicability. This is a very old and prestigious college of Guwahati, Assam. There is not much pressure during the course.

Course Curriculum Overview:

It conducted several carrier counseling and seminars and workshops which helps students to make right choice in future and enhance their knowledge. In my batch we didn't have major in subjects .we were told that there will be major subject in 3rd year but there was not .Later they said that in honours there is no one particular subject to be major and all main subjects are considered major subject.

My Happy Place

Placement Experience:

From 6th Semester onwards the students become eligible for campus placements . There are many comapnies visited in our college like - Godrej , Axis Bank , Mahindra etc. The highest package was from Gorej which was for 5LPA . On the basis of their interviews rounds they were provided the job .

About my college experience

Course Curriculum Overview:

I love their teachings, I can't speak assamese and when they teach in Assamese I can't understand anything but the teaching is mostly English and Hindi so I'm grateful to teachers, the mark system is crazy, they just gave us whatever they feel like giving, like it always ends with 5 or 0 for eg. 55 65 80 30 etc
