Course Curriculum Overview :
The breach coirse is one of the finest courses you can develop your skills and work of your preferred domain. The university Lags in providing practical knowledge as most of the equipment have grown old and they only give troubles to you on uncessary subjects which are of no use in your domain
Internships Opportunities :
There are many opportunities provided by clubs such as ACM but you need to work hard to try yourself getting a internship as the college is flooded with students . The stipend of some of the students is quiet good others are not heeting paid
Placement Experience :
The campus placements are Available from third year onwards and you can apply for it yourself mostly students opt for off campus placement and that is good too cause of low placement rates of Gehu. The percentage of student getting placed is 40%or 30% . My plans after getting the degree are of cracking GATE exam and going for higher studies.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
There is a scholarship for the domicile of the state of Uttarakhand which is 25% of the fees of the entire course. There is a skill development scholarship as well as a academic scholarship which you can retain by maintaining a certain 7+ cgpa.
Campus Life :
The main feet of graphic era is Grafest which is held in may every year it is one the largest fests in India .summer feat and hostellers party are other major feats enjoyed by students . The classrooms are occupied with projectors but teachers uses it rarely. The sports environment of the university is quiet good and the university clubs are active as well as passive you need to search them and give interviews for them.
Hostel Facilities :
The hostel is equipped with a common mess for all the 5 blocks Sai hostel is one the best hostels as it gives you some open space as welll as the fees is also affordable . The wardens are uneducated and don't know anything . Wardens will trouble you every single possible ways the menu is good but the quality of food is worst.
Admission :
There is no enterance exam or any type of GD for admission you just need to reach the admission desk if available at your city or at Dehradun and you need to pay some advance fee to block your seat . The exams are difficult for hill students as compared to deemed students .
Faculty :
The faculty to student ratio is somewhat good but the faculty is not up to the benchmark which is required by we the students in first year but as we move on to seniority the faculty is calm and well. I interact with some of the teachers mostly and it is because of the false attendance they do mistakes in marking it so considering checking attendance daily
