Course Curriculum Overview :

Course curricullum subjects are related to GATE subjects of the respective branch. In a single semester we have 2 class tests of 15 marks for each subjects. The end semester exam is usually 100 marks.

Class Size : 69Course Fees : INR 75000 per year

Internships Opportunities :

This semester my batchmates have interned at ONGC provided by our department. ECE T&P cell is more active than CSE. This year mechanical branch got 100% placement. INternship oppurtunities are available.

Placement Experience :

Campus placements are erratic. Many students focus on GATE exam. Packages offered are 4-10 lacs. From PSU BEl is a popular recruiter. CSE and ECE students secure the highest packages. 7th semester students can sit for on campus placements.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

There has not been any hike since I joined college and I am now in 4th year tution 37000 + mess&hostel 18000 for single semester of btech Scholarships are available for financially challenged. For example NSP,etc

Campus Life :

JOSH is annual sports festival. College has a below average grounnd. GOONJ is the anual cultural festival. Participation is average. These events can be organized at any time of the year. Books related to courses taught in the college are available in the library. Facilities and technological provisions within classrooms are on par with school classrooms.

Hostel Facilities :

A bed, table, chair and an almirah is provided to each student. Meal quality is average considering the state of government colleges across India. Registration for hostel is done at the begining of each college year. Quite affordable. Mess fee is around 16000. Hostel fees around 2800.

Hostel Fee : INR 18000 per year

Admission :

After few rounds of JOSSA counselling UTU counselling opens on uktech.ac.in website. Merit is based on JEE mains rank. Reservation is available for SC,ST,PD,KM,AF,FF. 85% seats are reserved for candidates of uttarakhand. I availed the Armed Forces Reservation.

Faculty :

There total 8 branches in btech. Each department has its separate building. For CSE and AIML branches both classes have about 70 students. Other branches have about 40 students per class. teacher to student ratio is low.

Good to go

Placement Experience:

From 3rd year that is 5 th semester students are eligible for campus placements and interships. The companies who visited our campus is Deloitte, PWC, Amazon, TCS, Mahindra etc. Highest package offered currently in 2023 is 32 Lpa and 22 Lpa and average is between 5-6 Lpa.80% of the total students appeared in the placement. My plans is to pursue mtech after this.

Quantum University at a Glance

Placement Experience:

6th sem onwards placement drives are carried out in this university. All the students in that particular semester may be eligible for the placements. No I said eligible as because the attendance as well as the backlogs are checked. As the college is very strict about attendance and backlogs. If either of the two doesn't reaches rhe minimum criteria then the students are debared for the session or from the placements drive. Ok so 192 companies visit the campus every year where the hight package reached was of INR 33.50 LPA. The average package ranges from INR 7LPA - INR 8.5LPA. Placement percentage is almost around 91% as of the current year. My plans after getting the degree is to like opt for higher studies and get placed either abroad or into the biggest MNC in India.

Placements are great , however they vary bramchwise. This year Roorkee observed a small dip die to recession and everyone were not placed on campus . However many got placed off campus and received some great packages too

Placement Experience:

The placement in my college is average. Companies like google amazon tcs adobe recruits here in campus. 7th semester students are eligible for campus placements. The highest package offered was 84 lakhs by amazon.. I don't know about the percentage of students getting placed. Placement Experience:

As I'm in 2nd ye I don't know much about the placement cell but I heard from the seniors that the placement ratio is good but only for those who devoted themselves to studies. The highest placement ever was like 1.1 CR and avg is 6L. The percentage of students getting placement is like 40%.My plans are giving CDS or GATE exam for higher studies.

Remarks:

It was recommended by my seniors who have earlier studied in this college. The other thing that fascinated me towards the college is the faculties. They are well qualified and heard from others they teach so well so i chose the college. The other thing is the infrastructure and the college is in the area where less noise comes.
