As Du is central university , students come from different places , there I experienced exposure like I got to know many different kinds of people's and their thoughts . And experienced and learned new things ans skills with them.
I would highly appreciate the sllyabus pattern and also DU professors are very helpful in nature .

Dislikes

Administration of college . They are doing many mistakes and aslo the behaviour is very disappointing .
Thers is no such placement opportunities. And also the internships are not that much relevant and good .

Course Curriculum Overview :

I would appreciate the pattern of curriculum and but somehow the major and important part of Indian hiatory that is modern history is not given the valuable enough time . It should be given more time .

Class Size : 76Course Fees : INR 14000 per year

Internships Opportunities :

I didn't got any internship , so don't have any information about this . Cause there is no internship available for history students and also there are internships available only for the b.com students and economics background students .

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

14000 per year So the fees get increased by every year which vary between 2000 to 4000 .. And there is scholarship for financially poor students within they get full refund of their fees. Also there are many other scholarships for reservation category students .

Campus Life :

I actually had a good experience with college societies , there are many clubs and society in the college with provides many opportunities to meet exposure and great personalities and also the campus environment is good . In DU , we got to know many kinds of people's ans their different views and opinions.

Admission :

So the basic eligibility of the course is to 45% in 12th and a good marks in entrance exam that is CUET. There is a huge difference between general and other reservation categories . Almost 20% I am general category student and I really don't like the difference between process and eligibility criteria of reservation and non reservation category

Faculty :

I can say that not all the teachers are good teachers , our few teachers are very helpful and they actually have alot of in-depth knowledge and experience. And few teachers are just doing their formalities for the salary I think so .. So there are both type of teachers .

My experience of Delhi University

Course Curriculum Overview:

My course was good for me as I'm preparing for the upsc civil service examination so political science helped me a lot in my optional subject. Through my curriculum I got to know many theories and approaches that we can see in our daily lives and as I just said I want to go into bureaucracy so it is helpful for me. There is no improvement needed as such because my professors were actually so good. We used to have monthly tests for our internal and semester examinations which were on average neither easy nor difficult.

Average college of Delhi university with good faculty and good college

Placement Experience:

From last semester students become eligible for campus placements. There is below average placement in this college. Students almost opt for higher studies. But still there are many companies which visits but they offered on an average 3 lakh per annum package. Only 20% students got placement and rest of them opted for higher studies. My plan was clear at that time to go for research in economics

Course Curriculum Overview:

I have been a lover of English as long as I can imagine. Being in Miranda only brings me closer to my beloved, as each one of my professors only seem to strengthen my affection of the language and for the literature it offers. It teaches you in abundance about how the world used to work and how it works today. One who studies english shall never ever fail to navigate their way through life. Considering the examination, if you have it in you to look at things beyond their exterior, you'll ace this subject. Though, I must state that being a subject course, it takes a little more than "one to two days before exam studies" to score a CGPA higher than 8.

Good in terms of literal education but not the best one for good placements.

Placement Experience:

Third-year students are eligible for campus placement opportunities. Some of the companies that came to our college are PlanetSpark, RSVI, IDFC First Bank, FNP, Zoconut, etc. The highest package offered for our course is around 10LPA and the average package is 4-5LPA for positions like a translator, editor, content manager/creator, etc. However, the placement percentage of our college/course isn't that high. The average percentage of placement in our college is approx. 40%. My plan after completing the degree is to have a job alongside my Masters.
