Dislikes
- The in and out time for hostels is reaaly bad . the timing always got changed if there any mishappening occurs.
- Mess food is really bad sometimes and the warden too
Course Curriculum Overview :
I would rate the course 7 out of 10 In the terms of relevance and Comprehensiveness. mostly, our curriculum is based on theory as well as practical, but mostly it covered theoretical part. Like in the subjects like operating cement, all both theory and practical is applied in that course. The frequency and timing of exams along with my perspective and their difficulty level is, I would say medium too hard And also we have a semester of five month in which we have midterm examination in the third month, and we only have one midterm examination and one term examination and other than that we have four quizzes, labs and assignments.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
every course has different fee structure, but according to my course, that is BTech CSE, my fee is 137000 per semester with scholarship applied . The fee varies from solicit to semester in the first semester. I had my fee 1,27,000. and in total, it would be 10,98,000 till fourth year. there there are so many scholarships here . I got scholarship of himalayan category . there are so many scholarships, but I know only two scholarship that is one is himalayan category scholarship and the second one is according to your percentage percentage of your 12th examination.
Campus Life :
The social life and the campus life is really good here we have different different clubs and societies Like the debating society, LC club, the vagabond, the mess and many more. There are also a social service clubs as well, and they are handled by students, completely. No teacher involvement. All the clubs have one mentor for the club, but all the responsibility is on the students and they carry all the operation related to clubs and all the decision that is made for any event and all and the events here are conducted time to time. The range and accessibility of books and all are in the library. We can issue any books for 15 days and then we have to return or we can also re-issue if someone unable to return or re-issue, then there is a fine of two rupees per day on per book. The annual fest is here, youthooia It is cultural as well as technical event. It is the fest of three days. On first two days. There is a technical as well as sports events and on the third day, cultural.
Admission :
There wasn't any entrance exam for me at that time, but the minimum eligibility criteria for the course was that you should be the student of science stream, and you should have computer science and the 12th, but they also took students from physical education and other elective subjects. For the admission process. It is really easy when we came to university a week got a token and then we submit the token money for admission process and then we got application form as well as we can also fill the application form for admission on online as well.
Faculty :
The faculty isnt that good its average but mathematics department has really good teachers the teaching method is superb. Its really convenient to interact with teacher, we can go to their cabin as well as we can ask anything in the classroom only. Teachers are always ready to help the students out. mostly students prefer to go to cabin of all the teachers . they show all the sheets in their given as well as in classroom too. Every teacher has their own method of teaching and approach. Some teacher prefer to teach with the help of some teachers prefer to do board work. mostly computer science teachers uses a PPT and all and mathematics teacher use board
