Course Curriculum Overview

2.5

Curriculum has many carrier scope taking maths was a good decision for me , higher mathematics shows lot of real world application for example medicine ratio and proportion is decided through mathematical calculation. Exam are not taken on time in our university on passing of 2 years I am still in 3rd semester .

Fees and Financial Aid

As I belong to general category so I don't get any scholarship by the college our government in jharkhandd. But other categories do get scholarship like full refund of their college fees, I think that general category should also get some financial help

Campus Life

3

Campus Life is minimal , students are not allowed to make groups anywhere in campus which is a good thing according to the conditions in the city. Yearly fest are organised with great messages and societies are formed.

Admission

Admission process was smooth it took no time for the admission . No entrance exams were taken for the admission. Cut off marks were declared for the admission. Exams should be taken for better selection of students

Faculty

5

We have some great professors with us who have experience of teaching in NIT. Our head of department is also very experienced and knowledgeable who teach things in right way. Namely lal sir(hod maths). Sanjeev sir is very good teacher, he go one to one to students.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I was very fond of mathematics in my intermediate times that's why I chose to do my graduation from BSC Maths Honours. But I chose the wrong college for doing so, which overall ruined my life. After coming to this college, I lost my interest in studies and this is the only thing I gained from this college. So, I would recommend everybody to stay away from this college.

Bokaro Steel City College, Bachelor of Science [B.Sc] {Hons.} (Physics)
Reviewed on Jul 16, 2021(Enrolled 2019)

Course Curriculum Overview:

From the beginning of my 11th and 12th standard I'm very fond of Physics and mathematics that's why I choose to persue honours in physics and also there are more opportunities and jobs after bsc in physics compared to other streams. In bokaro steel city college the faculty: student ratio is not that great(1 per 250 students) as it is managed by state government. The qualification of teachers is above average (Almost every teacher has a P.hd) but the quality of teaching is not that great. Teachers often miss there classes and there way of teaching is very boring. On usual exams are taken in a interval of 6 to 8 months. But due to covid situation the exams got very much delayed l mean upto 10 to 12months. If you can complete the syllabus just by having few glances of the topics and follow the previous year question its quite easy to pass the examination by securing good marks. But most of the students always fail (almost 50% every semester).

Remarks:

In reality, this college has more negative remarks than positive. Some good part is that it has some great teachers. Their best course is B.Com for which it is famous. They organise some sports tournament that is appreciable. Overall good college to complete your degree and make Foundation.
