- Nice campus with greenery everywhere. Well maintained classrooms and laboratories. Clean and green campus.

- No group activities. No ventilation in some of the buildings. No course related training from the first year. Less number of group activities that affects communication among students.
- Some of the faculties lack teaching abilities. Less fests or irregularity in the fest organization.
Course Curriculum Overview :
Interanls are held evey month of the sem for 50 marks each subject which are then reduced to 10. All the three internals follow the same pattern and are summed up to a total of 30 and the other 70 marks divided among end sem exams and assignments. End sem exams are written for 100 marks and reduced to 50 and then added to the other 50 marks comprising of assignment marks and the aggregate of the internal exams. Course curriculum is very much planned with different aspects making different lartof the course. Mini projects are given to improve the application mindset of the students. I chose Computer Science and engineering course as it is the new trend and plenty of opportunities can be seen from this field of study. Hence have taken the risk of the course calculating all the pros and cons. I would like to improve the teaching standards and including more group curriculum in the coirse to improve teamwork management and communication skills.
Internships Opportunities :
As I am in the first year I do not have a vast idea regarding the internship opportunities but students can prefer off campus internships for various experience. Ptojects are given to the students from the second sem itself. This helps developing work life experience in a small scale to the students.
Placement Experience :
Placements are around 90 percent in the Computer Science course with average package of 600000 and highest package of 5100000 till date. A great number of companies visit the college for hiring making it a great opportunity to the students to showcase their capabilities to the recruiters. My plans are to pursue civil services and serve the country as soon as I complete my degree.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
No sich scholarships provided by the college mangement at the beginning of the course. Some of the government scholarships might help but are abided by some regulations regarding the income limit of the family. The scholarship is named as SSP scholarship which provides scholarship based on the caste and annual income of the family. As I have joined through writing the state exam by the name KCET and have gotten in through government seat my fee for the year is 120000. As I am a first year student I have no knowledge of the fee increase policies.
Campus Life :
The library is vast around 3 to 4 floors. There are alot of clubs which can be entered through auditioning to the clubs. Several tech fests happen in and around the university in which the students can participate with no hesitation. Gaming events are also organized by the management. Two fest are organized once a year .One in the month of December and the other in the month of May. Sports are also encouraged withs separate gymnasium and indoor squash court inside the campus. There is also a synthetic tennis court and a huge ground. It has a beautiful campus life with a lot to experience.
Admission :
I got my admission through the state entrance exam by the name KCET. The difficulty level of the exam is mid way between moderate to difficult. The exam is conducted for an hour for each subject which are Physics,Chemistry and Maths. The aggregate of the exam score and the board exam score of the Karnataka state is calculated and given ranks according to the score and the students scored the marks. I did not like the division of seats based on caste. Because of this system many general merit students face difficulty in obtaining a seat at their desired colleges.
Faculty :
Ratio is comparitive. Majority of the faculties are very knowledgeable and teach in a very good way whereas some lack the ability to control the classroom and hence fail to teach. Very few are unable to teach. Most of them are phd holders with immense knowledge on the subject. Students can approach their respective mentors who are assigned at th beginning of the sem. And subject related inconvenience can be dealt woth their respective subject teachers or through the department HOD. Various responsibilities are shared among different departments.
