As the world is full of artificial intelligence, their root is computer science and engineering. That's why I choose it. It's very applicable in real world problems. The teaching should be more practical. The exams are touch and it should be tough so we can learn more from it.

Interanls are held evey month of the sem for 50 marks each subject which are then reduced to 10. All the three internals follow the same pattern and are summed up to a total of 30 and the other 70 marks divided among end sem exams and assignments. End sem exams are written for 100 marks and reduced to 50 and then added to the other 50 marks comprising of assignment marks and the aggregate of the internal exams. Course curriculum is very much planned with different aspects making different lartof the course. Mini projects are given to improve the application mindset of the students. I chose Computer Science and engineering course as it is the new trend and plenty of opportunities can be seen from this field of study. Hence have taken the risk of the course calculating all the pros and cons. I would like to improve the teaching standards and including more group curriculum in the coirse to improve teamwork management and communication skills.

Dayananda sagar college is a autonomous college which means the teaching faculty has the power to make changes to the curriculum... which made me choose this college. Our college has enough labs for every subjects which gives students to properly test their knowledge on a specific field. The only thing to consider is the college takes 3 internal exams every sem. But it is quite easy as the teachers provide sufficient material and one can study can get good marks not average marks studing 1 day before also if they pay a little attention in class.

As I was interested in BE after 12th because it opens up many career opportunities for you in the future. Talking about the curriculum it doesn't as such prepare you for real-world applications because the curriculum in our education system is a little bit old. The curriculum can be thoroughly changed in aspects of the present time as we all know that AI is taking over a lot of things. Exams are conducted on a monthly basis which is known as Mid-sems and around 4-5 months Semester End examination is conducted with a question pattern of moderate level.

Computer Science and Engineering is the best course to be chosen. The curriculum is good and upto date . Faculty members are experienced. Lab assistants are also cooperative. There are multiple activities being conducted in which students can take part and explore. There are 3 CIE exams being conducted then practical exams and then final SEE exam.

The exam pattern is very loose.there is five modules in first year, you can learn questions from the official question bank.the faculty is very friendly.there are many extra curricular activities. Most of teachers are updated with technology.

I wanted to take Computer Science and Engineering as I love to code. Faculties are great they will support you in everything you do. Most of the faculties have done M. Tech and Ph.D and they teach through projector. After every 20 days internal exams take place and it's not difficult at all if you want to get pass study one night before exam.

I choose Computer Science because I found the logic behind coding interesting so I thought to pursue computer science and engineering from Dayanand Sagar College of Engineering bangalore. The exam in this college happens every month
One of my friends recently graduated from Dayananda Sagar College of Engineering (DSCE). Here is what she had to say about the CSE placement at the institute.
The institute is autonomous, and the quality of education, assignments, and projects has been improved over the years. The placements for the CSE branch are promising. All the companies allow CSE students to sit for campus placement. Recently, JP Morgan came to the campus in the sixth semester and offered packages of around INR 6 LPA. Therefore, placement would not be a problem.
All the students across all branches get placed in at least one company. Most students get placed in Accenture, Infosys, HPE, Continental Automotive, Moog, EY, UHG, Dell, JP Morgan, Oracle, Tally, Cognizant, and more. All of these have recruited CSE students in the past.
I will advise you to talk to seniors, before joining the institute, to have a clear picture.
According to the 2021 WBJEE cutoff, the required cutoff for CSE at Heritage Institute of Technology is 3434 (general). So, it will be difficult to get admission in CSE with your rank. As an alternative, you can go for IT at Heritage. It offers similar career prospects as the CSE branch.
With 4.5k rank, you can also try for KGEC EE/JGEC CSE/GCECT CSE/GCELT CSE/IEM IT/ GCETTS CSE.
At this rank in case, if you are getting a Govt. college don’t go for it as there is a very low chance of placements.
Out of these two, Dayanand Sagar is definitely a better choice because it is an autonomous institute. However, you will encounter multiple distractions on the campus and it is advisable to be cognizant and not to neglect studies.
Dayanand Sagar has a good reputation in terms of co-curricular activities. One of my friends, who got RNSIT in the first round, waited and later opted for DSCE in 2nd round.
Trust me it was one of the life-changing decisions in his life. Rest is up to you, do whatever you feel like.
