There is bus services from this hostel to campus but still we cannot depend everytime on the bus timings

Course Curriculum Overview :

The course is fully packed with all the information that we needed and the distribution of modules are also well structured,a students who revise every day can cloak a good cgpa according to this curriculum.The syllabus will cover everything we needed to study for the gate examination so there is no worries about that.

Class Size : 50Course Fees : INR 124000 per year

Internships Opportunities :

For civil department ther are very less companies which is providing internships,but tech related companies are providing lot of internships and some of the big companies like P&G,Goldman Sachs are providing management internships

Placement Experience :

There is campus placements in our college.7th semester students are eligible for campus placements and lot of companies visit our campus including core,management and tech companies.For IT people the highest salary package is around 40 lakh per annum,more than 80% of students will get placed in every branch on an average and I am planning to continue my studies after the graduation

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

There is a well structured fee structure.Per sem those who have salary package greater than 10 lakh per annum have a sem fee of 64k and the sem fee decreases as the annual income decreases for peoples having annual income less than 1lakh they have to pay a fee of about 4k per sem,there will be a hostel fee around 3k and mess fee around 3k to 4k per month,this will varies according to what you eat.Per day they'll charge a rate of 138rs in mess

Campus Life :

My overall experiance in this campus is pretty good,the first year hostels are good and in a room there will be 4 peoples,this helped me to improve and increase my number of friends from all over india because in the 4 guys 2 of them were from other states and the infrastructure provided are good,there are lot of clubs,social groups and many more commeties which helps in developing skills and help in socialising among others

Hostel Facilities :

Hostel facilities are really good,there will be one cupboard two tables and chairs,two beds etc in a room for 2nd and 3rd years there will 2 persons per room.Good toilet and bathroom facilities are there.The mess is really good having variety of menu everyday and there are about 5 to 6 messes.Which we can change according to our wish ineach month

Hostel Fee : INR 24000 per year

Admission :

My admission was through JOSAA portal, i cleared JEE MAINS and cloaked 95 percentile and ended up in civil engineering department l.The admission process is very transparent and those who have studied well for the entrance exam can surely grab a seat here

Faculty :

There are enough number of faculties in our department and they all also well educated and experienced.They teach very well covering the entire syllabus within the timespan,which is a great responsibility.Ee can approach the faculties whenever we need their assistance

NIT Cailcut-The Good,Bad and the Ugly

Placement Experience:

Students can apply for campus placements by the beginning of the 4th year.High paying companies are attracted by the placement cell which offer good packages to the students. The average packages for the circuital branch are pretty high. Each year about 200 companies are invited. The highest package for Electrical and Electronics has gone upto 38LPA with average package of about 14LPA in the graduation year 2024.About 128 students had registered out of which 120 students were placed.The minimum salary offered was 5LPA.

Is engineering here worth it?

Placement Experience:

Students are eligible from 7th semester to sit for interviews. The pod.ai app helps us in making the resume and calculating a cgpa to appear for the intwrviews. The pod.ai registration fees is 500?. Companies such as nissan,infosys,commandtech,bimlabs,gulfasia etc has visited . And the highest package was 11 LPA and lowest was 3 LPA
