Likes

Good campus, greenery, nice hostels, helpful faculties and staff.
Good connectivity, accessible by road, train and airport.

Dislikes

Large syllabus, passing marks 50 %, very high.
Not many great places to chill and hangout.

Course Curriculum Overview :

Syllabus is somewhat outdated and not so useful when it comes to modern industry requirements. There are loads and loads of unnessecery courses which only piles up the pressure on students. Honestly speaking the curriculam requires some serious alterations and modifications.

Class Size : 60Course Fees : INR 400000 per year

Internships Opportunities :

there are many student which apply for internship online but core branch student go to rudrapur for internship in companies like eicher motos , tata trucks etc and there are other colleges in university which give internship to students for their technical work.

Placement Experience :

Placements start from 7th semester onwards. Companies visited are TCS, Infosys, Balram Chini, etc. Highest package is 12 lpa. Average package is 2 lpa. Students also opt for various higher study programs.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

The university provides different kinds of scholarships based on both merit and parental income. The college boasts a TWF (Tution fee waiver) scholarship seats where the complete tution fee is waived if the student has a net parental income with a certain threshold and he or she manages to get a good JEE rank.

Campus Life :

Various fests occur like Razzmatazz, Conflex, Spardha, Colloseum, etc. Generally major fests occur during December and May whereas minor fests are regularly held. The university boasts one of the biggest libraries in the country.

Hostel Facilities :

Pathetic to summarize in a single word. Three students are accomodated in a single room during first year. Meal quality and menu is decent but needs upgradation. 3 time meal with snacks is provided in every hostel.

Hostel Fee : INR 20500 per year

Admission :

It's a typical JEE based admission criteria. One has to get a decent JEE Main rank to secure admission. The cutoff ranks vary greatly based on departments and category. The part which is not great is that it has a separate counselling procedure rather than a standard JoSAA counselling.

Faculty :

It's mixed, some are great and helpful and some are not so great. Tutorials are conducted on regular basis to help the students. Faculties are quite approachable and one can just casually visit them in their respective offices.

Placement Experience:

Placement is good in BTECH CSE .. As 70 % students are placed in Btech CSE 2024 . From 7 semester students btech are eligible for Placements round and many companies visit our campus like Google, Amazon, Microsoft, Adobe.. and the highest package was 52 lpa and average package is 6 lpa .. Many talented students got 50 lpa and above from top companies. ( MANG).

Honest review on GBPUAT

Placement Experience:

Eligibility for Placement is semester 7 and 8 which is 4th year. A number of companies visit the campus including HCL foundation, ICICI Bank, Mother Dairy, Godrej agrovet Ltd. Etc. I myself am thinking of going into research field so i'll have to do further studies in the same field.

Placement Experience:

The placement shows quantity but not quality, in my batch 60-70% students were placed with a highest package of 5lakh per annum and minimum package of 2.4 lakh. As per fees of college the average package seems low.

Placement Experience:

This college has quite good placements for CS students. The average package of the college is 7 lpa which is quite decent. Last year the highest package offered was of 68 lpa at Palo Alto. The eligibility for sitting in placements are : - you should have a CGPA of 7 or above. - you are allowed to sit in placements from 7 semester.

Remarks:

I chose this college women institute of technology which is in Dehradun because it is the only government College which is for girls and it gives them technical knowledge. The college is funded by many government schemes which are very beneficial for us. We have different seminars winners from course in other things also to increase our soft skills as well as other skills. Hair in my 4 year experience I have learnt a lot a lot of things. We get free coaching for MTech i.e GATE classes and other employability training programs and that too free of cost.
