The annual technical fest Aarohaan takes place during month of April. It is the second largest eastern technical fest. The annual cultural fest Recstasy also takes place during this time. But the thing that I like the most is the greenery beauty of NIT Durgapur

Hostel facilities are better than what we have expected. The meals quality is good. The hostels are clean and all the staff maintain hygiene. We have night guards for safety. Moreover, the girls' hostel also has CCTV cameras for extra safety.
