- I liked the ambience of the university when i saw it at the first time.The university is huge and it has all the facilities and resources nearby.
- It has both state and central institutes for research purposes and students are taken to these institutes and are taught about the experiments being conducted
Dislikes
- The college schedule is hectic and students will have classes from 9 to 5
- Attendance of 75% is another thing that i disliked and there’s no relaxation of attendance
Course Curriculum Overview :
The curriculum is designed in such a way that we get acquainted with all the aspects related to agriculture.We are taught both theory and practical aspects of the subject. In the practical aspects we are shown the real life subject matter and the teachers make us to do the practicals so that we'll know what is what. We have student farms where we have our classes of crop production and we have college farms where we are shown with experiments of phd scholars
Placement Experience :
From 7th semester the students become eligible for campus placements MANAGE,NAARM,NABARD and other esteemed centres have come to our college for placements Some banks like SBI also take in agri graduates from our college
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
The tution fee is affordable and the hike in the fees is not seen often. There are 2 semesters per year and in the 1st semester we pay both university fee and non university fee an amount of 25,400 and in the second semester we pay only the university fee which is 18,900 We have state scholarships and ICAR scholarships since it is a university accredited to ICAR.
Campus Life :
The university has college day celebrations,inter college sports meet and cultural meet,freshers day,farewell day,traditional day. The university has one of the largest libraries in telangana with high speed internet and all the students have access to the university library.Digitalised classrooms.The university has indoor and outdoor sports complexes and there are different clubs like cultural club,photography club,sports club etc
Admission :
After completion of 12th we have to write an exam called EAMCET and it is digital exam where you have to go the exam centre and have to write your exam in the computer.MCQ type questions are asked. You have to get a cutoff of 4000 rank if you are from general caste but the sc/st or other reservation need 8000-9000 rank You have to apply for the registration in the official webiste of PJTSAU and they'll announce the counselling dates and subsequently they'll allot a seat if the cutoff is met. The admission process is offline which helps us a lot so that we wont have a lot of doubts
Faculty :
Each department has around 20staff out of which 10 people are teaching staff which includes head of department,senior professors and assistant professors,lab technician staff. Every professor has a doctorate degree and have an experience of 10-15years working in research institutes
