Remarks :

My college PJTSU (Professor Jaya Shankar Telangana state agricultural university) was an agricultural university college in Rajendra Nagar in Hyderabad. Our college was established in the year 1964. To get admission into my course, firstly we have to clear the ts EAMCET exam, which was of +1,+2 syllabus for biopic people, which was of 160 marks for 160 questions. I got my rank as 3386 in the TS EAMCET exam. I have cleared the TS EAMCET exam. After getting the result we have to participate in the TS EAMCET counseling conducted by the ts state which is of two phases. I got a seat in the second phase and then I got a confirmation email in my mail from the college and I went to my college and completed the admission process details. Application fees are around 1500 only for 1st year. I have got a seat in bc b reservation seat.

Course Curriculum Overview :

I have interested to go into the agricultural field to get a good government job in this field, so I took this college. The faculty in our university are excellent faculty. they have completed their pg and other graduation in the top colleges of India and other colleges in the other top countries like USA, UK, Australia, etc. they were very friendly to the students present in the college. They teach in a simple way so that the student gets clarity about his/her subject. They make the students ready for the field. Most of us have field projects in the class timings. Here the student-faculty ratio is around 4:1. The exams here are semester exams . Two sem exams per a year. The exam paper was quite difficult to write it. The exam papers was prepared and written by the faculty staff.

Internships Opportunities :

The internships given by the university were very less as our department was from agriculture, so it was somewhat difficult to get internships but this year our university got internships from the companies like waycools food and private limited, ekosight technologies private limited, etc the stipend was around 10000.it was the maximum stipend in the university .generally we do the projects in the 4th year which was very good.it helps in getting the campus placements. Most of the projects are given to do work in the university itself.

Placement Experience :

Generally, the campus placements here are good when compared to the other agricultural universities. The highest was around 1000000 and the average was around 400000. Generally, the students are eligible for campus placements from the end of the 6th semester onwards. like one of the companies like Anmol media, cpshpl, naandis association of urban farmers, etc. Most of the students were placed in my senior batch. They made around 30 offers. The percentage was around 91 in getting placements. After completing my course I will get a BSc in agriculture degree to my name. The companies that came for the campus placements here are good.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

The tuition fees here are 19000 per semester and the other fees d 6000, so a total of 25000 fees per semester for our course at the university. The mess fees come around 2000, compare to other universities this university was best in the fees aspects. The students can get a scholarship whose financial income per year is less than 200000. They provide here good facilities with taking low fees from us. The scholarship will get around 40000 to a student at the year-end, which was very good. Here the campus placements are good when compare to the other agricultural universities. The average is around 400000.

Campus Life :

The campus is extraordinary and it is 238 acres in the area which is full of greenery. The campus especially in the winter season is so beautiful with flora and fauna. Here there are some clubs like field club, drawing clubs, singing clubs and every year there will be a freshers party for the juniors. our university has a big library where we can get all the books regarding our course. A reading room is also available. If we want a book to read or take it to a hostel room or another place, we have to enter the name in the library register office . The classrooms here are good with fans aboard and some good benches.

Hostel Facilities :

I have got the allotment of hostel rooms at the university . To register a hostel to get a room, we have to first go to the admin block and fill in our details there, then they see the vacant positions in the room and give us the allotment of a hostel room. In my room, I and my friends live around 6 members in the room and the room was also very large, it is spacious. For clothes, a washerwoman is also there for our floor. Otherwise, we can wash our clothes on our own where there is a separate washing room on my hostel floor. The mess here is of south Indian type. The quality of the mess is good here..every week we have a chicken twice.

Remarks:

I do not observe any negative remarks in our College. The only problem in this College I face is that there prolonged class hours. A student actually becomes very tired by the end of last hour. Another minor problem I faced in this College is unexpected power cuts.
