Course Curriculum Overview :
My curriculum that is ECE(Electronics and communication engineering) is what uou can say versatile as i can apply for both core and non-core placement opportunities. Doing some specialization course will also help in placements.As per exams in each semeste oput of 8 semesters end sems occurs once and mid sems twice.
Internships Opportunities :
In campus internships are provided in 3rd year of Btech course till last year but recently they are going under a change .Students can apply for open internships online as well.Projects are assigned to each students who opted for it under a specified professor.
Placement Experience :
Stidents are eligible for campus placements if they had an overall decent average of cgpa(say around 7.5).A lot of companies visit here including google ,amazon,Microsoft etc.Percentage of students placed are high but recently due to recession period it is decreasing . If a student is not placed in campus placements he/she can apply for off campus placements.
Fees and Financial Aid :
Tution fees varies as per candidates category (general ,obc, sc ,st, ews).Complete cost for eductaion including tution fees,mess and hostel fees is nearly about 2.18 lakh for a year.For finacial support students can apply for loans ,a sbi bank branch is inside the campus.Students with weak financial background are given fees wavier on providing income certificate.
Campus Life :
There are a lot of techincal fest that are held here every year.Techspardha js a techincal fest,Confluence is a culutural fest ,other fests are Utkarsh,E summit etc.There are large varieties of books and journels available in the college library ,we can easy any book for few weeks or whole semester with our collge ID cards.As for sports around 16 sports are played here and Inter Nit competition are organised for each sport.
Hostel Facilities :
Hostel rooms are quite good ,we are provided wtih a table ,chair and bed.Room comprises of a almirah with a attached balcony.Hostel food is what you can say good enough not exaggerating.Menu is decided by the mess commity which comprises of students itself.Hostels are alloted on the fay of you joing the college, registration procees is quite simple ,you need to pay the corresponding fees and provide with required documents.
Admission :
You can only apply here for Btech cousre via josaa councilling.You first need to clear jee mains examination with a very good rank to get admission here .For a candidate of general category he nust get over 95 percentile in jee mains, for other categories resevation benefits are available which can be availed by providing valid documentation.
Faculty :
Faculties here are quite qulaified.They explains quite well .Each subject might be taught by a number of teachers,we can go to teacher's cabin for doubt purpose or for any other problem regarding academics. One barrier might be language for some students who are not well doing with english and hindi
