The college infrastructure is better as it's an old iit
it is the best iit than guwahati ,kanpur and kharagpur

The students are not supportive as such.

Course Curriculum Overview :

1.It is the best iit and that was the only decision to choose this course 2.The curriculum is exhaustive many a times 3.The course doesnot need such improvements but the heaviness of syllabus should be reduced. 4.The exams are frequent

Class Size : 5000Course Fees : INR 400000 per year

Internships Opportunities :

The data about companies and the recruitments are not available on the website and from the seniors we get to know that data and ai companies are prevelant 2.You need to get internships and appretiship during the college

Placement Experience :

1.The students get eleigible after 7th semester 2.This year approx 3 to 4 hundred companies made the offer 3 the highest package was of 36 lakh and the average package was 14 lakh 4.The details about percentage placemets are not made public yet 5.I have to get a mtech in data science

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

1.The fee structure varies differently for the course taken and the caste of the students, the fees hike every year by 10 percent 2.I complete education here is only 40000 and the rent fees if you go for offline course in future 3.The scolorships are provided like topper scholorship. 4.It is my first year and I am seeking opportunities to learn

Campus Life :

1.The annual fest name of corveet and paradox ,they are held in the month of December and may. 2.All books and journals are available in the library, one will not complain for this issue. 3.The classes are well equipped to cater the students. 4.The students are very enthusiastic, you will find them doing something everytime ,clubs include corveet,Sundarbans ,photography club ,art club ,movie club

Admission :

1 You should clear 12th 2. The admission are based on qualifer exam by iit madras and you can also go through jee Adcance 3.I have not availed Reservation benifits 4.The timings and frequency of the exam is not good from my perspective 5.The allocation of exams centres should be appropriate.

Faculty :

1.The faculty to student ratio is good and doesnot face hindrance to the teaching 2.The faculty members are highly qualified some are doing research on high standards with the US research centres 3.Many students interactions are good and the teachers are supportive

Placement Experience:

This course offers internships from 2nd year and placements from 3 year itself. Till now the bs students are not graduated , so there is no data of placements. But it is very relevant in the job market because data science is currently in a boom in the market. After college you could go for masters or PhD orelse you can apply for gate Da paper.

Review about IITM BS degree in Data Science and Programming

Placement Experience:

It's IIT so first of all placements are guaranteed itself, since it's a new course packages are not going that much high like regular students of BTech program but within two-three year it will match those standard as it's a demanding skill and growing industry. Also after this many students are planing for Gate exam as it's syllabus exactly matches with our curriculum for GATE DA paper .

Once you complete the third level of this course which bsc degree wo get eligible for campus placement opportunities. Since only 4 years have passed after starting of this course there is only one placement drive till now. But according to sources 2500 students got placed and many more got internship in many leading companies. As I have heard the highest package is around 12 lpa.

Placement Experience:

I think after completing foundation level students are eligible for intership.They also prepare us for intership ,teaches python dsa and important skill for placements. There are many companies which visit and gave intership and placements. The average placement is 10 lpa and those work hard and prepare well will get higher package also ,it depends on the students After completing the i want to start a startup and build my own company.

Be an Iitian without JEE

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course has four levels foundation, diploma, BSc, BS. One can exit by completing any of these levels. The course includes study materials such as video lectures, practice assignment, graded assignment and much more on weekly basis. Thus, the level of education is high. While talking about exams each term has 3 exams: quiz1, quiz2 and end term. All are conducted within 1 month gap. Also the exams are centre based which makes it more competitive.
