  • The distance of the college was very far from my home.
  • The canteen was in a different building so it was a task to get lunch in the lunch break

Course Curriculum Overview :

The course which i was pursuing was very releyto me as i was willing to purse electronics and communication engineering. The comprehensiveness was appropriate according to what a student would need and are very helpful for our own knowledge as well. We were provided with hands-on as well to cope up with the course accordingly.

Internships Opportunities :

I got many internship opportunities. Some were paid and some were unpaid but the main focus was in up skilling myself which i did through those internships. Moreover they also provide such intership where they hire students as a full time employment after successful completion of the internship program.

Placement Experience :

The placements of the college is pretty good. It starts almost from the end of the third semester and goes all the way also after our final years. They provide us a lot of opportunities (companies) to grab. Even after passing out if someone doesn't get selected in a company they assist us through mail about different companies opportunities.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

The fee structure is simple that is it needs to be paid semester wise and it was around 40-45 thousand per semester. But as of now i think there is a hike in the fee structure. They provide scholarship as well specially to those who have good academic scores.

Campus Life :

My overall campus life was pretty descent and smooth. My learning progess was also very productive and my skills became better and better over time. I got many opportunities to prove myself and make my parents proud and the culture is also very good.

Admission :

The admission process is pretty straight forward. Anyone can take admission directly without giving any entrance exam because it's an autonomous college and they also allow candidate's who comes through entrance exams and the cut-off is pretty descent to get admission at Guru Nanak Institute of Technology.

Faculty :

The faculty members are very helpful and are well qualified. They always help the students whenever needed and also assist us with our projects. They guide us on how to get better at whatever we do and also assisted us with our research papers. They helped us a lot to publish those research papers as well. Overall, they are very well qualified and effective as well.

Other Applied Colleges

Tara Devi Harakh Chand Kankaria Jain College | Bachelor of Science [B.Sc] {Hons.} (Computer Science)

I was willing to pursue B.Tech in Electronics and Communication Engineering

Placement Experience:

Recession is going on since last few years and being a private college obviously that has affected placements in our college also. The current situation of placement is not really good. Among students from all branches which each may have like 150 students, only 20 something got placed on campus. It is said that companies like TCS, Capegemini, Wipro, Amazon, Zscaler etc comes to campus for hiring but most just come and don't hire. This year highest package was 26.5 lakhs by only 2 students from our department, CSE.

Placement Experience:

The placement data of this college can be found on its site and if you work hard from your side the college will definitely bring in the companies and you will be placed depending on your skills. According to my knowledge the students becomes eligible for placement from 6 th semester this information may as be wrong so please refer to college once . College tries for almost 100 percent placements but with no skill even god can't help you so it comes to you individually how much have you grown. My plans after the degree is to get a job .
