- I am not used to the climate conditions here in my campus. Campus is very far from main city patna.
Course Curriculum Overview :
1.The course curriculum is quite good, as my course is electrical and electronics, it covers the every aspects in this field, so that we can get into further research in this field, or can be placed in good companies. 2.Our course curriculum mostly relatable to what in Massachusetts Institute of Technology, syllabus for every courses are relatable to what they have.So we are lucky enough to build our career with such great courses. 3.Every faculties are well qualified , and some them are great in thier method of teaching.Classes are interactive here. 4.Every semester will end in nearly 4 months , so you will face mid-sem exam after 2 months of start of the semester, and an end-sem at last , some quizes are also happened in between.
Internships Opportunities :
1.companies like google, amazon, flipkart, D.E. shaw, oracle, qualcomm,samsung etc. were big providers for internship opportunities in my college. Stipend of around 75000 to 1 lakh per month is provided to my college students for internships. 2.I am in first year so I have very less knowledge of projects done by seniors to land an internship in these big companies.
Placement Experience :
1.students become eligible for campus placements from 6th semester. 2.companies like google, amazon, flipkart, tcs, DE shaw, oracle are the top visitors of my college providing 1 cr+ packages to the students. 3.highest package is of 1.66 cr per annum from cse branch. Average package is around 25 lakh per annum. 4.91 percent of students registered got placed in the recent placement session of my college. 5.applying for job in a good electrical core company is my first priority.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
1.In every IIT tuition fee per semester is 100000, same here also in IIT PATNA 2.For a general students total tuition fee for whole course is 800000 (4 years), total fee (tuition fee + mess+hostel+gymkhana+ institution fee)= 1160000. 3.If your income less than 1 lakh or if you belongs to st/sc then you don't have to pay tuition fee. if your income is in between 2 to 5 lakh then you have to pay 33% of the tuition fee, this scholarships is provided by institute itself other scholarships are like NSP, and some private funded etc. 4.NO, i'm a first year students so i have not any idea about the job roles here.
Campus Life :
1.In august there is a fest NEBULLA for freshers, INFINITO Sports fest in last sept., CELESTA Tech. fest in November, and THE CULTURAL FEST ANWESHA IN FEB. 2.There are variety of books in library , you will get books for every field you want, wifi fully accessible, magazines and a lot, we have central library that is large. 3.All the facilities are available in classrooms , like projectors, better seating arrangement, A.C., sound system and all. 4.There is very good environment created for sports, Prarambh is organised for freshers ,INFINITO is organised so the other colleges sports group can participate. 5.studentlifeiitpatna at insta, and many more accounts will there if you search writing IIT PATNA IN google.
Hostel Facilities :
1.Hostels are quite good . As our IIT Patna is a 2nd gen. college , it's hostels are new. C.V. RAMAN hostel for fresher boys with occupancy of three, an enough big troom for three occupancy. Two fans per room. APJ ABDUL KALAM hostel for 3rd year and above. ASHIMA hostel for girls, Aryabhata for 2nd years boys. 2.Mess of CV RAMAN hostel provides quality, and tasty meal. 3.Registration process is simple , just you have to show the hostel fee receipt and you will get into the hostel. 4.NO, I haven't taken any room outside on rent.
Admission :
1. First you have to qualify JEE Mains exam to write Jee Adavanced exam, then after getting rank below 16,000 you can get admission here in IIT PATNA and according to your rank seat will be allocated through jossa. 2. After clearing JEE Advanced you to register in JOSSA COUNSELLING, there you get further information regarding dates, FEE structures are available on college site. 3.I have availed obc reservation benefits, on the basis of income your there is concession in tuition fee. 4.For getting in IIT PATNA or any IIT , you can give max two times JEE ADVANCED , and we all know level of difficulty is hard for jee advanced . 5.Nothing to improve , everything will go smooth.
