Course Curriculum Overview :
I am from Cse department. The professors here are good and friendly which is not the case in other departments. They help you with your studies and projects . Little improvement can be done in labs as most of the systems in labs are outdated.
Placement Experience :
Companies start to hire from semester 7 and they will provide you Interns for sem 8 in that semester. This year the placement were not very high because of the market conditions but until last year the placement was 100 percent. This year in my batch 25-30 got placed out of 98. And highest package was 18 lac per annum. Second highest package was 14.5 lacs per annum.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
This year the tuition fees was 132000 besides it they charge a one time fee of rupees 20000 per year. Since my duration of four years this fees has remain the same for all the engineering courses. What has varied is the hostel and mess fees. Scholarship details can be acquired via the university website.
Campus Life :
Annual sports fest in the university is named as Sarang. And annual cultural fest is named resurgence. Besides them there is a technical fest also which is called titiksha. Student election are not allowed in the university so there are not any political groups here but there is a NGO service known as Vikalp in University who are doing tremendous work in educating young kids of both poor and well off background.
Hostel Facilities :
Here the facility of renting a room is not available only the local students can do it . For all the students from other States it is must to reside in hostels. Facility depends a lot on which hostel you are provided. Mess food is not too bad but also not so good. It provides justice to its name as mess food.
Admission :
I applied through the Jodhaa counselling and I got admission via JEE rank. The admission process is a little cumbersome they can make it more student friendly and also can work on improving the communication skills of faculty who are incharge of communicating with students.
