Infrastructure is quite good. It is a lush green campus.
Facilities are good, as per the college.

Course Curriculum Overview :

The course is relevant when it comes to the core industry standard. But when we talk about the course relevancy in the domain of Tech based jobs, then it is pretty irrelevant. In short the curriculum is as per the Industry demands.

Class Size : 145Course Fees : INR 400000 per year

Internships Opportunities :

Various big companies like Google, Microsoft, Atlassian, Salesforce, Nvidia, Texas Instruments, and other giants visits campus for the internship opportunities. Many students cracks internships from here.

Placement Experience :

Campus placement is quite good, almost everyone eligible for the placement got placed in the senior batch. Big Companies like GOOGLE, MICROSOFT, ATLASSIAN visits the campus and offer internships too. Highest was: 85.4lakhs Lowest was: 10lakhs.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

The total course fees including hostel and mess fess is around Rs 16Lakhs. There is an option for scholarship, there are basically 2 criteria, one is Merit Cum Means and other is Merit. Merit Cum means includes reservation for reserved classes in the scholarship. And rest Merit includes scholarship based on the basis of your CGPA

Campus Life :

Bitotsav is the cultural fest, held during February. Pantheon is the techfest, held during October-Novemeber. There is a central library which has a large collection of Books. Classrooms are equipped with ACs and projectors. Also there are various student clubs of different genres.

Hostel Facilities :

Hostel is good as per the infrastructure, but there is a serious issue of Double Accomodation which was started from our batch. It is due to it, we have to live in share in a room which was meant for a single people only.

Hostel Fee : INR 25000 per year

Admission :

I took admission through an all India Examination Called JEE. Although I had cleared both JEE Mains and Advanced, my JEE Mains rank was around 30K, and through JOSAA Counselling I got the seat at BIT Mesra in ECE branch (Home State General).

Campus placement is decent in lower branches but quite impressive in higher branches..like in higher branches like Cse or ece we have avg around 16 to 18 lakh ann in lower it's around 9 to 10 lakh which is quite good

All you need to know about BIT MESRA

Placement Experience:

The placements are declining day by day. In 2022 the average package was around 14lpa and highest was 56lpa but after that it has decreased significantly. Percentage of students have also declined . In ECE around 80% students get placed with an average package of 11lpa . Companies like Nvidia do visit the campus.

B.I.T My Home town

Placement Experience:

The placement of this college is good. Approx. every student is placed. The average placement is 6 lakh. The students are eligible from the 7th semester for placement. The company visited are Tata steel, Vedanta, JSW, Tata Power, Tata Long Products, Deloitte, Sclumbereg, Amazon, Samsung, CISCO, Akash, Fiitjee, Byjus, etc. many big companies. In every company there are 5 to 6 students are placed. The placement package of Tata steel is 10 lakh, amazon is 44 lakh, etc. The percentage of students getting placements is 85 %. I want to go for teaching in Akash or Byjus, etc.

NIT JAMSHEDPUR what you learn and what you experience

Placement Experience:

Students become eligible for placement from the 3rd semester, many students got PPO offers and almost all big companies visited and there were 2-3 offers on everyone and there is 100% placement and the highest package was 35 LPA by Microsoft and the lowest was 3-4 LPA by mass recruiters like tcs and Infosys. Everyone used to work after getting placed.

An average stundet of cs

Placement Experience:

After the completion of 3 rd years, students are eligible for placement. About 10 companies came when I was there and they don't have soo many offers. The highest package of 10 lakh waa given to our best student in computer science the average package was 5-6 lakh that's the average package of most colleges here it is the same. The placements of students were quite average about 70 % cause most of the students get diverted. I planned to go in some other field apart from engineering.
