Course Curriculum Overview :

We follow a placement oriented cariculum here,the collage focuses in domains that are relevant in the market now.unlike many other collages we dont have basic physics and chemistry here .every one star c programming and ece domains from the first year itself

Class Size : 50Course Fees : INR 1400000 per year

Internships Opportunities :

Various internship opportunities are avilable within the collage and via companies that visits the collage like bosh,google etc. the faculaty members also provide us with internships programs via their contacts

Placement Experience :

We have a good placement history and provides us with many opportunities and internship possibilities. Outside-campus opportunities are also high because of the reputation of the college.I am planning to do mtech after my btech

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

Tution fees increase by a certain amount every semester it will be a negligible amount while considering the amount we are paying for the course. For SC/ST people there are many scholarships available that help them

Campus Life :

We have many cultural and technical events here including an annual techno cultural fest called apoorv. The campus life depends on your friends circle if your friend circle is good, your campus life will reflect that

Hostel Facilities :

The hostel rooms provided by the collage are pf good quality and the mess and food facilities are average just like any other collage still it is adjustable .the quality of food is good but taste wise it is average

Hostel Fee : INR 26000 per year

Admission :

The admission to IIIT kottayam is via jee entrance examination a percentile of 95 and above is considered as safe for admission in this collage .reservation policies like state quota is not available here.a person who had completed his/her jee examination after 12 th can apply for admission in this collage.The admission process is really smooth i dont have any suggestions to improve it

Interview Experience :

There are no interviews for the admission anyone who have the required rank and percentile in jee is eligible to join in the collage depending on the competition you have in tye particular year.prepare for jee from 10 th itself

Campus is choosen wisely

Course Curriculum Overview:

Actually the university curriculum is bit old fasion.Like the technology is a way head of the things that we are studying in the sessions.But the basis are well learned from it.The improvement we need in that is that to get out of the instituion as a proffesional that can handle the new technolgy that the real world work in.The curriculum is need to improve so much as per the technology improves the students want to know what all changes that are happening in the real world and they want to be trained according to that.

Placement Experience:

Our campus placement will begin from 7th semester. From 5th semester onwards college will provide training for placements and we have placement cell for this. An average LPA of 5 is provided from our college. Good amount of companies visit our campus for placement and we also get oppertunity to go for off campus placement

Placement Experience:

In the 7th and 8th semesters, the students become eligible for campus placements. Infosys, and Spyridian, are the companies that often come for placements .3 -4 lakhs is the highest package given by these companies.The percentage of students getting placement is about 50-70. My plan is to go for higher studies or to go for a job.

SEEING STCET THROUGH MY VISION

Placement Experience:

From the 3rd year onwards we could attend placement interviews and many companies used to approach our college but mostly IT companies as I was in civil dept the construction companies were very less or NIL. In our batch, most of the students got placed and many offer letters but the only disadvantage was the offers were not from the core companies.
