Good faculty is very good and behaviour of faculty is very nice . They treat like us friends
College is situated near beach it's is good for us . whenever we want we will go there

Dislikes

Mess is so far from hostel it's very bad for us.
Infrastructure facilities are very poor in nit py.

Course Curriculum Overview :

The curriculum is up to date and every faculty member is good. but there is a thing that you can not change your branch, after the admission, but if you score a good cgpa in btech you can get direct admission in iit madras in mtech course.

Class Size : 38Course Fees : INR 800000 per year

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

Tuition fess is not very high without any fee remision it will take almost 8lakh but if are an SC or st student there will be no tuition fees. There will be only hostel fees for sc st and students whose family income is below 1lakh. But the hostel fees are to be paid by all. In the first year it will be 32k for 1sem and from 2nd year it will be 28k.there are no stipends for btech students. There is no scholarship from college but there may be other govt scholarships.

Campus Life :

The cultural fest is level conducted in Oct, the tech fest is in March and named gyanith, in the library all books related to all courses provided are available, there are projectors in every class and all labels are also there on campus the sports facilities are not good there are only 2 permanent court basketball and badminton there are multiple clubs in college related to everything like coding robotics dance and other things.

Admission :

For admission, you have to clear the jee mains exam with a good score. You can fill out the jee main application from the jeemain.com website. Fees are different according to your reservation. For SC and ST, there is no tution fees. for ews students 2/3 is a discount on tution fees. But hostel fees is paid to be paid by all. Other details can be found on the NIT Pondicherry website.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum of my course is pretty easy to cope up with , so that u get more time to prepare for other exams. Curriculum is prepared in such a way that it makes u ready to appear for gate and other similar exams. Provide more technical knowlegde related to subjects mentioned in the gate syllabus. There are 2 class test exams and then one final semester exam.

National institute - advantages and disadvantages

Placement Experience:

The college gives good placements for mostly all of the branches and you can get an average package of 12 lakh per annum. Getting a placement in civil might be difficult unless you study hard and do some good internships. Mechanical and computer science has good placements compared to other branches
