Course Curriculum Overview :

As it is that I am studying chemistry honours, I myself choose this college because the faculty members here are very good and the have a lot of knowledge about the subject. They help us to understand the subject better. We have two exams in each semester one is the midsemester and the other is the endsemester and in case of lab we have exam after every three classes.

Class Size : 48Course Fees : INR 46000 per year

Internships Opportunities :

In our college we are needed to do interships by second year. Many professors of other colleges are very eager to take students of our college for internship because of the reputation of our college. Even if students do not get internships in other college then our collehe also provides some internship opportunities to students. Apart from that our professors themselves also have research labs.

Placement Experience :

I am a first year student so I do not know much about placements. But we have a seperate placement cell in college and as I have heard it provides good placements and apart from that most of the students in our college go for higher studies after completing their bachelors.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

I personally have not taken any scholarship so I can not comment on that. But the fees structure here is very good as we have to pay the fees of each semester in two installments and it is also not much. In my course the yearly fees( including two semesters) is around 46000.

Campus Life :

The campus life in our college is very great. We have large number of societies and large number of events also take place all around the year. There is games room for indoor game and playground for outdoor games. Our library is also very well furnished with many books. We also habe studying rooms above our library.

Admission :

The admission details are available in the college website. It is based on 12th boards results. In one semester we generally have a midsem and then endsem. The exams are a bit hard as our college is autonomous and it does not follow CU guidliance. But this college also helps us to learn a lot of things. Everybody in our college are associated with a lot of co-curricular activities other than studies. This helps us to have an overall growth.

Advantages of joining Adamas University

Placement Experience:

The placements provided by adamas university are really good, it basically depends on the student and his own knowledge and skills, but still the placements of adamas are really good. For biochemistry, placements are good only after masters. After Bsc there are jobs but they won't pay that much which you can get after completing Msc. And there are very few jobs of biochemistry in India. But you'll have a great scope in abroad.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The Course curriculum & faculty members are quite good, 1st of all I have preferred Bsc Biotech because of my extreme interest in genetic engineering & upcoming situations of Covid 19. Also, this subject has a possibility for a Blooming future in the upcoming days of the Pandemic/epidemic. The Faculty in This college is quite good & The laboratory benefits & materials are also Supportive & workable, This college provides one of the oldest Biotech labs in West Bengal. The student ratio is also balanced. Saying about Qualification of the faculty, The Professors have atleast 6-10 yrs of teaching exp and research performs in their career, they are all friendly & supportive and helps us to explore more in this subject The term exams are Moderate & have standard questions.

Remarks:

This college still today stands to be among the first choice of every student in the hooghly district and 2nd in the Burdwan University. The only negative part is that this college has a very high political presence in the campus. Though the present government said that they oppose such strong political holds in colleges but still this words has not been kept.
