Course Curriculum Overview :

Civil Engineering is a backbone for the country's groeeth and development. Being in the age of AI, core branches would become more and more human dependent as AI can eliminate software engineering in the coming future. There is a scope of government jobs in this field. Also you can make loads of money if you start your own business. Research side in this field of study is a bit non-recommended but again one can do research on the applications of AI in this domain. The course curriculum is up to date and prepares for every challenge we may face in the long run.The exams occur twice a semester in the form of Mid-term and End-term.

Internships Opportunities :

Summer research internship like DAAD, MITACS, etc are there. Industrial Internships are also there in core companies like L&T, Tata projects, Siemens, Afcons, Hiliti, EIL, major PSUs and government agencies.

Placement Experience :

Placements are really nice in this college compared to other colleges of the country. Students sit for placements after completing their 3rd year. Companies visit for different job roles like product management, Consulting , SDE, Core engineering , etc.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

Tution fees depends upon the category and reservation quota of the student. Scholarships are generally not provide. Campus placement is the best in the country for civil engnieering. People can do internships at various companies of core and non core also. This institute encorages students with good cpi to pursue research by recommendations. The tution fees doesnt increase throughout the course

Campus Life :

There are a lot of clubs which encourage students to find their interests in various fields. The campus is full of greenery. Techfest, Kashiyatra, FMC weekend, E-summit are some prominent events that occur every year. For sports, there is SAC and Gymkhana

Hostel Facilities :

Hostels are nice and weel maintained. The only problem is the dogs that roam inside the hostel. The mess facilities are nice and food menu is according to the seasonal vegetables that are available. in the market. The hostel is compulsory for all the students.

Admission :

Admission is based upon the merit list in jee advanced exam (for those candidates who are eligible to write it after JEE Mains). Cut off is around 10000 rank in CRL in JEE Adv. There is reservation for this course based on category and gender. The admission process is smooth enough. You dont need to worry much about the admimssion process.

Placement Experience:

From the 6th semester, students can start getting placement if they had done an internship with any company. Otherwise, in the 7th and 8th semesters, most of the students get the placement. Many renowned companies come and offer jobs in college. About 70 percent of the students get the placement.

Placement Experience:

More specifically if I am talking about placement is that if you want to get good placements in dei that you must maintain your sgpa at least 8 points for you to appear in the placement cell. There are many companies visited in college like torrent power for electrical branch and other for their respective branches. Around 60% of students get their placements through college and it also depends on students' ability and skills. Since I am in the 4th semester so yes from 3rd year students get their training or internship through college to students with good grades. So you must have to maintain at least 8 sgpa for better placements.

The placements of the college have been great so far. All the major companies and tech giants like Google, Microsoft, Adobe, AWS, DELL, etc came for placements this year. The average package this year for BTECH students was 8.6 lakhs per annum. Also, the highest package so far has been 44 lakhs p.a. Almost all students are placed with good packages so it is an ideal choice to choose Bennett University for higher education.

Placements are good in GCET, Although they vary from time to time. For placements, students are eligible from the 7th Sem. Companies like Direct-I, Samsung, Amazon, Infosys, Wipro, Cognizant, TCS, etc. all visited the campus. The highest package I now am 21LPA buy it can be more. And except recession 60-70%, people are placed. Rest it all depends on students as well.
