Love the greenary around the college campus
Seniors are supportive towards you if you behave nicely .

Dislikes

There are too many restrictions for girls

Course Curriculum Overview :

As the 1st year student the curriculum conclude the basics of engineering,it is not that tough . Most of the stuff in 1st year you have studied in 11th and 12th .After that in 2nd year you are introduced with your branch specific stuffs .And very important is that attendence plays a very crucial role you require minimum 75 percent in each subjects to appear for internal test and overall minimum 75 percentage to appear in final external examination.

Class Size : 61Course Fees : INR 70500 per year

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

As a government college ,tution fees is quite average as 35 thousand for first sem and 32 thousand for second sem approx and for all year student it varies from 60 - 70 thousand per year and hostel fees for girls is 18000 and it change according to the mess expenses. I don't know much about boys hostel so I think they even pay the same .

Campus Life :

College have two annual festivals spardha sport event and scitilla cultural event .the college campus is filled with greenery .So if you are fan of nature so you are going to love it . We even have clubs which conclude savi for personality development , codeB coding club and singing club

Admission :

For admission, you have to appear for JEE mains . The councelling is done on the basis of jee mains score. You have to appear in utu councelling for admission . And if you want more information about how to appear in that you can follow Rachit Tripathi in YouTube , he will tell you everything related to councelling ,cutoff , college review and comparison.

Honest review on GBPUAT

Placement Experience:

Eligibility for Placement is semester 7 and 8 which is 4th year. A number of companies visit the campus including HCL foundation, ICICI Bank, Mother Dairy, Godrej agrovet Ltd. Etc. I myself am thinking of going into research field so i'll have to do further studies in the same field.

The placement shows quantity but not quality, in my batch 60-70% students were placed with a highest package of 5lakh per annum and minimum package of 2.4 lakh. As per fees of college the average package seems low.

This college has quite good placements for CS students. The average package of the college is 7 lpa which is quite decent. Last year the highest package offered was of 68 lpa at Palo Alto. Remarks:

I chose this college women institute of technology which is in Dehradun because it is the only government College which is for girls and it gives them technical knowledge. The college is funded by many government schemes which are very beneficial for us. We have different seminars winners from course in other things also to increase our soft skills as well as other skills. Hair in my 4 year experience I have learnt a lot a lot of things. We get free coaching for MTech i.e GATE classes and other employability training programs and that too free of cost.
