What Students Say
Likes
- The faculty, the teachers, the campus, and some gem of books in the Library MAINLY
- The affordability a 100 times! Imagine a good studious atmosphere with teachers interested in teaching and always there for you just 1800/- a year!!!
- The labs which are very up to date and keeps your interest boiling
Dislikes
- The cultural side could have been a little more flourished it is not like it DOES NOT HAVE but it could have been better
- The campus life is a little dry there so being an outgoing person I feel a little dull but a good friend group is all it takes though:)(it might be heaven for you if you're an introvert)
- The classrooms are not well maintained mainly i believe it's because it's a government college to the funds are low so that's always an issue
Course Curriculum Overview
I'm BA psychology and I love my course here!! The faculty especially is really dedicated and in terms of practicality it's very up to date with then labs and instruments if you are interested in that. Even though maintanence is a slight issue there as it is a government college there is issues with the maintanence but to be honest the faculty makes up for it
Internships Opportunities
Internship opportunities in Bethune are bounty, for my course I'll be getting a internship in my second semester itself, the internships are not very practical and informative at least to say and the certification courses are also a huge help in the long run when it comes to career building and also personal development
Fees and Financial Aid
I do not have much idea on the placements as my course isnt placement centric but I do know Bethune gets a placement offer every year from Tata Consultancy Services. As per tuition fees it's realllyyy cheap and they also have bulk loads of government scholarship for you to dive in so that's a help!
Campus Life
Okay so here's a con it's not that culturally fulfilling, there are a lot of clubs to encourage if you want to go there but it's not that fulfilling, the library has a wide range that's a plus, it's very course oriented books but if you dig in you'll find some gems too!! In terms of extracurricular we have a NSS so we can work on that and campus life is okayish I'd say but a solace to be in.
Admission
The admission process was smooth especially the faculty members are extremely cooperative and as off cut off for my subject which is BA psychology it goes a little high if you do not have reservation facilities, it is around ?80-90% and for BA course there is no entrance exam as such it is completely based of your HS percentage
