- Campus life is some how boring as there are no such things like campus life.
- The administration somehow will make you feel strangled, sometimes it's weirdly strict without any reason
Course Curriculum Overview :
History department of the college is carrying its legacy over the years. They always inspire the students to dive into the depth of the subject, department always make us learn the implementation of the subject history in real life. The exams are conducted in short times but the department makes us very well prepared for those exams.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
Course fees is 28500 for honours in non lab based subjects and 32500 for lab based subjects. You will be charged 4000 every month for hostel and food. Scholarships are offered for financially challenged students. Campusing is available for some courses like economics and statistics and physics.
Campus Life :
The college is way ahead of its competitors in terms of resources and technology it includes in its infrastructure. We have e classrooms for every department. We have e libraries for e resources and materials. Beside this we have two major libraries that are one of the most enriched libraries of Kolkata. Annual fests are held, following there are many monthly academic and cultural fests. A convocation ceremony is held every year in the month of December.
Admission :
The college go through a college entrance exam in order to admit students, the admission form is available in the college website. The difficulty level of the exam is moderate. There are reservation as same as other colleges of Kolkata. The eligibility criteria to apply for the admission is to have atleast 65 percent in the desired subject.
Faculty :
The faculties are so massive in RKMRC, every department has one professor for every four students. Professors are so much qualified that reflects in their lecture and mentorship. We students are so lucky to get such teachers because it's too easy for us to approach to them, they provide us extra doubt clearing sessions so that we don't need any external tutions.
