Course Curriculum Overview :

Our university boasts a top-notch academic program, earning an impressive 9 out of 10 rating. Crafted by esteemed faculty, the curriculum integrates advanced technological components to enrich students' learning experiences. With semesters held twice a year and just one midterm evaluation per term, keeping up with studies and attending classes regularly ensures midterms are easily manageable.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

The tuition fees at our institution are uniform across disciplines and academic years, standing at 62,500 INR per semester and 5 lakhs for the entire undergraduate program. Initial semester expenses total around 1,15,000 INR, followed by subsequent semesters averaging about 83,000 INR. These expenses cover hostel accommodation (7,000 INR), meal plans (20,000 INR), and additional fees encompassing medical, library, and computer facilities. For financial support, students can avail themselves of simplified educational loan options. Although on-campus part-time job opportunities are limited, the university offers merit-based scholarships and reserved awards like the All India National Scholarship and Vivekananda Scholarship.

Campus Life :

Our campus exudes an exceptional atmosphere, despite its modest size, boasting top-notch infrastructure. With three auditoriums, two outdoor recreational areas, and the impressive SAC auditorium, students can also relax by the serene duck pond in the evenings. Our library, a hub of knowledge, houses over one lakh books and offers high-speed WiFi connectivity, accommodating diverse study schedules from 5 am to 10 pm. Sports enthusiasts enjoy various events including Inter NIT tournaments, Hit Hall competitions, and eSports. The vibrant club scene includes technical societies like GLUG, RECurrison, Math and Tech, CCA, SAE, IEEE, ISTE, alongside cultural groups like Strokes, Dance, Music, and Prakrit. Festivals such as E-SUMMIT, AAROHAN, AAVISHKAR, and RECSTACY infuse excitement into campus life throughout the academic calendar.

Hostel Facilities :

During the initial two years, male students are housed in either Hall 11 or 14, while female students reside in Hall 10, and international students are assigned to Hall 12. First-year dormitories are adequately furnished, but there's a decline in quality in subsequent years. For the first three years, rooms are shared by three students, transitioning to individual rooms in the fourth year. Amenities include desks, lamps, lockers, fans, and cots without mattresses. Recreational amenities include badminton and table tennis courts, as well as chess and carrom boards. However, the dining hall menu is repetitive, posing challenges for students from South India. Nearby eateries like DFC and Wondercafe offer alternative dining options. First-year students face campus restrictions and cannot leave without prior authorization.

Hostel Fee : INR 14000 per year

Admission :

To succeed in college admissions, scoring well on the JEE Mains test is crucial, alongside achieving a minimum of 75% in your 12th board exams. The application cost varies based on your category: 1000 INR for OC, 800 INR for OBC, and 500 INR for SC/ST. Strong problem-solving skills are essential for performing well on the JEE Mains, which is of average difficulty for those with a solid grasp of the fundamentals.

Review of IEM Kolkata, a strict Engineering College.

Placement Experience:

The students are eligible for the placements after the sixth semester. The companies that generally visit us for placements are TCS, Infosys, Cognizant, Accenture, Wipro, Oracle, IBM and some other ones. The highest package offered through last years is 22 Lacs Per Annum and on average it is 4-5 LPA. 90% students on average get placed Every year. My plans after getting the Degree is to pursue Freelancing Full Time and Become a Web Designer.

Good Placements

Placement Experience:

We become eligible from the later part of the third year to sit for the placements as the companies arrive then. Mainly placements are dependent on service-based companies like TCS, CTS, Wipro e.t.c. who mass recruits a whole lot of students with standard 3.5 to 4 LPA packages. Product-based companies like Oracle, Amazon, and trilogy too visited the campus. Oracle recruited a few of the candidates, Amazon too but nobody could clear the trilogy's OA rounds. Oracle offered a package of 15lpa and Amazon around 22 LPA. But a lot of students applied off campus and the highest placement off campus was 72 LPA in Google. The placement percentage is nearly 100% which is mainly due to the fact of service-based companies. I too am interested in IT jobs so am preparing for the same.

Seeing stcet again through my eyes

Placement Experience:

Students from the 4th-year 7th semester onwards become eligible for all sorts of campus recruitments. Cognizant technology solutions are the principal recruiter. Other companies which used to come during this time include Infosys, Odesha technologies, itc infotech, and others. All these companies generally take many students from our campus. During our time around 88% of students got selected from our batch. Out of which many students got double job offers from cognizant and Infosys. Some got job offers in sonodyne, Vodafone, and other companies. The highest package was offered by cognizant which was about 6 lakhs per annum. An average package of 3.5 lakhs per annum was offered by Infosys followed by itc infotech which offered roughly 4 lakhs per annum. After getting the degree I will pursue Ms maybe or maybe I can opt for MBA too. Also, I can sit for ies exam. Let's see what happens.
