Teachers are too much dedicated , they teach every topic in extra detail
Although outer look of infrastructure is not too good inner structure is quite eye pleasing

Dislikes

The outer infrastructure as roads get sunk when it rains
Teachers are too much dedicated to let us have some celebration

Course Curriculum Overview :

The teachers are quite dedicated in teaching, and also have increasing placement oppertunities, The curriculum is similar with other IITs nd NITs . Although teaching is admirable It would be more better if we have more core companies coming Exams are moderatly tough , each subject for total semester carries 100 marks out of with 30 are for mid term, 50 end term and rest 20 internals including unit tests and assignments

Class Size : 34Course Fees : INR 148000 per year

Internships Opportunities :

Tata offers a internship with stipend, students are given chace to appear an exam and grab the oppertunity. Am a third year student, I don't have much idea about project outcomes But I know that there will be 2 projects , one in 7th sem (mini project) one in 8th sem (main project)

Placement Experience :

From 7th semester students are allowed to sit in placements , students are given a chance to participate and get a internship+job offer oppertunity. Companies like TATA , Google , Wipro visit Highest package for 2023 is 48L for CSE and 26L for ECE Average package is 8L 85% of students in ECE get placed I am also planning to get a job in cOre companies

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

The tution fee depends on the category the students belong to, it varies form 3.5k to 74k . The students have great chance of getting scholarships like NSP(10k-1L) , FFE(40k) and so on There is no hike in fees Complete charges are tution fee + hostel , Hostel mandetory fee is 27k, common for all categories so the total fee vary from 30.5k - 101k Students are provided with internship oppertunities in 7th and 8th semesters by the university

Campus Life :

Every year a cultural fest called Ougri takes place Along with other small celebrations like teachers day, dussehra, holi, Christmas. There is a Library with almost all kind of subject related books that can be borrowed with a Library card Facilities are minimal .. but sufficient Students get chance to participate in intra NIT compititions and other sports meets Along with these there are clubs for litrature, Hindi cell, dancing , being run by senior students

Hostel Facilities :

Hostels are clean and well maintained But only issue is girls hostel 1 is 3kms far from collage due to with we should travel 40 mins daily, morning to collage, aftn back to hostel for lunch, and the to collage, evening back to hostel again It is quite a waste of time Meals are moderate, we can survive , every week one day we will get served a sweet (kheer or gulab jamun) Fees is 27k per semester and registration process is very simple

Hostel Fee : INR 53200 per year

Admission :

Applied through JOSSA and CSAB, general rank should be below 30k for male and 40k for female Application fee is same a JOSSA 75k. For OBC category rank should be below 9.5k for male and 14k for female Entrance exam is JEE mains and Gate for Mtech, both are quite challenging for their levels The infrastructure is nt well rated but the teachers dedication and explaination is exemplary

IIIT MANIPUR Worth going for?

Placement Experience:

Minimum of 30 companies come to our each year and almost 80 percent of candidates who are eligible for placement drives get job offers. Keep in mind 6.5 cpi is a necessary requirement to sit in placement drives also with no backlogs.

IIIT Manipur. Worth going for

Placement Experience:

Minimum of 30 companies visit this college each year and most of the 80 percent of the eligible candidates get a job offer. Well candidates below 6.5 cpi are not eligible for placement drives and they must not have any backlogs too. Average and minimum salary of this college is pretty decent for its ranks with 10 lakhs as an average package

My POV on NIT Manipur

Placement Experience:

Campus placements are elgible from 5th semester. Offers of campus placements from companies are usually IT sector companies like Microsoft, Amazon, etc. The highest package is around the range of 25 lakhs. The average package ranges around 6-7 lakhs. Around 70-75% of students gets placement each year. My plans after this degree is to go for civil exams.

My decision to choose this course is due the factors such as future career aspirations, passion, parental influence, job opportunities, etc. Our college curriculum prepares the students with benefits to deal with the real world such as a broader sense of community and more opportunities for collaboration. Some suggestions are supporting academic risk, building collaborative relationships, and many other benefits. woeful reality of NIT Manipur

Placement Experience:

Placements are overall good but have seen a certain decline in 2023-24 due to the recession as well as the situation in Manipur. Companies like Amazon, Discovery, and Edfora have visited our campus. The highest package of 47LPA was offered to only one student, while most of the most of the students have got placements under 14LPA.

Internship Opportunity in our collage

Placement Experience:

After 8 semester students become eligible for campus placement but he may get pre placement offer of he so talented L&T , Tech Mahindra , Tata, BEL, INFYOSIS , wipe out, powegrid, Microsoft, etc companies have 147 placement offers. 80 percent are placed. My plans are to do business after graduation.

A nice place to grow with whole lot of oppurtunities

Placement Experience:

From the 6th semester, the students become eligible for placements. Almost all tech giants visit the campus like Amazon, Cognizant, Discovery, Samsung, Mahindra & Mahindra, L&T, etc. The highest package offered is 47 LPA by Amazon and the average package is 10 LPA. 70% of the students get placed and you can opt for higher studies too.
