Course Curriculum Overview

4.5

The courses here are awesome. Everything is so interesting here. The courses are very standard here. All the lectures are so important to attend. The courses here include both practicals and theories. There is even research included in the scheduled courses.

Placement Experience

4.5

There are immense placement opportunities. Every year almost 80% of the students get placed in top companies with a really high pay. You also have good internship opportunities in top companies which give you a good stipend as well.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fee is quite feasible. You have immense opportunities once you get an admission here. My B.Tech fee was around 1.3 lakhs per annum which is quite reasonable when compared to the facilities you get.

Campus Life

4.5

Sports are a huge part of the curriculum here. All the students are allowed and equally encouraged to take part in sports tournaments. there are many workshops conducted in the college depending upon the department you are in. Guest lectures are also conducted ocassionally.

Hostel Facilities

4

The hostel facility here is good. One room s shared by almost 3 people. You get the facilites like free wifi all across the hostel and you are also provided with separate beds, cupboards desks and many more. gym s also provided. The mess food is okay.

Alumni/Alumna

Our seniors here are so cool. They are so helpful. They helped us guide our very first exams in the college. We even hangout with them during free times. Most of our alumni are in successful positions right now and some of them are even invited as guests during any events.

Admission

After my 10+2, I appeared for JEE. I got qualified for Mains with a really good score which was around 65%. unfortunately my Advanced scores weren't that great. Hence after online counselling, I was allotted NIT Imphal.

Faculty

4.5

The faculty is beyond words. Mostly all of them are graduated from the IITs and NITs. There are even faculty which who are graduated from foreign universities as well. They are super cool. The lectures are taught more on a practical and research basis.

Placement Experience:

Placements are overall good for CSE departments. Average package is 10-12 lpa,and placement percentage is also about 76 % not all placement are campus based some are off campus placement .This is too less as compased to other IIITs .The placement in ece department is about 8-10 lpa which is also very less compared to other IIITs.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I chose my course because I'm good at it than other course. And I'm quite interested in this too. The teaching method could be improved by focusing more on practical than just about theory. The frequency of exam is good it doesn't give us pressure.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I choose Bachlo of Science in Computer Science Honors because of the current computer trends in the market. Computer department has all sorts of things that are needed pursuing the course. The labs are there. Digital class also there. Students are quite low compared to the other department. we have like 30 students present in our semester. If you interested in the Computer science then you just need to passed 12th from science stream. All six are ready to be there for the students. Only the students seem negligence in the department. Class test are conducted regularly, and there is 2 exam in a year. Judging from the paper its something that can't pass the exam without preparing.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I had no specific course set in my at that moment but out of all, English seemed quite well-performing department among other departments. Plus it was not too difficult to start with as English was a common subject and we were used to it. The classroom buildings were not too good but it was manageable. At first day the classroom seemed small and wasn't able to fit in all of the students, but gradually the attendance kept decreasing which is a common thing and now only 60 of us are attending the classes. The teachers are well qualified with a Doctorate qualification and I don't have anything bad to say about them. Their teaching methods are easy to understand, and they're punctual; they don't usually skip classes. The exams on the other hand was the most disappointing thing about this college. Every exams were delayed atleast 2 months, and due to that out classes always started later than other colleges. The difficulty level is moderate but more than 50% students didn't manage to pass.
