Course Curriculum Overview :

The course is very good and quite explanatory with a lot of practical learning. Elective options are languages like German, Japanese and other subjects covered are finance, economics, and psychology.

Internships Opportunities :

Yes, it did provide internship opportunities. The internship was quite interesting and enjoyable. The average stipend amount was around 25K per month. Arctium offered the highest package for an internship in the year 2017.

Placement Experience :

The placement scenario is quite good. 85-90% of the students get placed. Major companies that visited the campus are Rakuten, Amazon, FinIQ, Microsoft, VMWare and Credit Suisse.

College Events :

Mindspark is the annual technical festival of COEP. The major events are Robotics, Retracer, CodeJunkie. Zest is an annual sports fest and impressions which were introduced in 2016 is the cultural fest of COEP.

Fee Structure And Facilities :

The fee is affordable for regular students but is quite expensive for NRI students. Around 70K for regular and 5000USD for NRI.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

The scholarship is provided on the basis of CGPA and is provided to deserving and needy students.

Hostel Facilities :

Hostel rooms are bigger than usual. People have to pay around 25k per year. Food is edible.

External Expense : Rs.10000 - Rs.15000

Alumni/Alumna :

There is an alumni association which conducts various competitions and also provide funds for the technical and cultural fests of COEP.

Faculty :

Teachers are decently qualified. Some have PhDs while others don't. Overall the standard of teaching is good. Attendance is flexible dependant on the faculty. Some professors prefer video lectures and MOOCs.

WHY YOU SHOULD NOT TAKE ADMISSION IN YCCE?

Placement Experience:

From 7 semester the students are allowed to sit in placements The companies like TCs And capegeminis is common for mass recruitment and new companies like Accenture also visisted And total 200+ offers were made in placements Highest package this year was 21 lakhs in IT sector and the average package is 3-4 lakhs. Only 60% students get placed. I am going to do business after graduation as i dont trust college as it would give me placement

Our beautiful College

Placement Experience:

From the third-year sixth semester our college taking campus placement or internship programs. In the past, our college has got an average of 4 LPA packages and the highest 12 or 14 LPA packages. There are so many companies like TCS, COGNIGENT, WIPRO, etc. Our College gives 95-98% placement in engineering. My plan is to do a job in a data scientist post in the company and give my best to that company that's all.

Is RMD Sinhgad School of Engineering a good place for seeking admission

Placement Experience:

Students become eligible for placements in their last year. There are many good companies that come and take part in the placement drives. Companies like TCS, Wipro, Accenture, Capgemini etc. come here for placements. The highest package in my understanding was about 30 lakhs as studied and searched by me. Many students secure packages above 3.5 lakhs in our college. About 90% of students get placed through the drives. My plan is also to take a good job from placement and then do my masters.

Last year students gets the chance for placements. many companies came here to offer jobs for students. ex.l&t,HC,etc. for cs there is highest package of 43 lakh. for civil average package of 6-7 lakh is there. around 75-80% students gets placed. My Engineering Life Review in this college

Admission:

I got admission through CAP Round as directed by AICTE and DTE, the process is of 3 rounds until you choose a college and finalize it. Admission dates for FE students start from around May-June period as college opens at around 15 July approx. And Students need to bring all documents attested and submit the original 10th- 12th documents in the college and after completing the graduation. He/She can collect the originals from the college after collecting LC from the college.
