Course Curriculum Overview :
One of best college in palakkad. It offers variety of courses both UG and PG. The curricular aspects of govt college chittur is an arts and science college that offers twenty courses in fourteen disciplines. There are six PG department and two of them( music and tamil) are research centers. The college follows the curriculum designed by the affiliate nature of the college allows freedom only. The choices are made often in tune with emerging trends. Subjects like computer application, biotechnology, microbiology, journalism and GIS are incorporated in different disciplines as a compulsory component. College provides a computer awareness program. This college provides a lot of opportunities to the students like NSS, NCC, ASAP, WWS and other programs. And also provided good infrastructure and training in sports as well. Judo and wrestling is the main items. Gym, swimming pool are others. Events, festival activities etc are enjoyable and memorable. Sports background are given priority admission in the sports quota. The college provides to the students like many clubs. The college conducted many competitions. The classrooms are well maintained and number of fan's. Libraries are available. A big auditorium are available. Canteen, computer labs, hostel, medical are available. Mess food is very tasty. Exclusive hostel facilities are available for both boys and girls..
