Sree Narayana College, Alathur Admission Process
Admission at Sree Narayana College, Alathur is either through merit-based or through entrance exam. The college is under the University of Calicut and the admission process is carried out through the Admission Process of the University of Calicut. The application has to be submitted by the candidate online. The university prepares the index mark list and allots the seats. Students who get allotment in Sree Narayana College have to attend the interview on the date specified by the university. All the candidates selected have to go through the interview conducted by the college.
How to Apply?
Undergraduate Courses:
The candidates have to follow these steps:
- The students have to submit online applications to various colleges and programs/courses.
- The online allotment process provides an opportunity to obtain admission to any of the affiliated colleges/centers and those programs/courses of the choice of the students based on merit.
- The students can choose from the affiliated colleges/centers and the online allotment of seats also helps in choosing programs/courses based on merit.
- The candidate has to submit the application on the site and also have to pay for the application form. Candidates of the General category must pay Rs 280/- and SC/ST candidates must pay Rs 115/-
Postgraduate courses:
- Admission to the PG courses is based on merit only. But in some courses, the candidate has to give the entrance examination conducted by the University.
- For Non-English candidates applying for M A English, admission will be based on the Entrance Test.
- The candidates who studied BA Degree in Thullal, Mohiniyattam, Bharatanatyam, and Koodiyattam are eligible for admission to M A Sanskrit through Entrance Test.
- The University will conduct the entrance examination for such candidates.
- Applicants have to apply online and register for the entrance exam.
- If selected they will be contacted for the interview.
For both Undergraduate and Postgraduate courses, If the application is favorably considered, an intimation card message assigning a date for an interview with the Principal will be sent to the applicant. All the selections are provisional and will be confirmed after the interview with the Principal.

The college has various facilities for the students. They are:
- Central Library: The college has a well equipped Central Library in the college. It functions from 9 a.m. to 4 p. m. on all working days.
- Computer Centre: The college has a well set up computer lab with computers and internet connectivity which helps the students to access information smoothly. These facilities help students in their academics as well.
- Seminar Hall and Canteen: The college has a spacious seminar hall where various seminars and workshops are held and conducted by the college for the betterment of students. It also has a canteen which provides all the students and the staff with vegetarian and non-vegetarian food.
- Hostel: Hostel facilities at the college are available for the girl students. All the rooms are spacious and comfortable.

- The college campus is okay with nature beauty and good atmosphere. Good auditorium and class rooms
- NSS and NCC are doing their best to improve the students .
Dislikes
- There no well developed lab rooms for students
- More field trips and industrial visits are needed and every semester they need to mention about the visits.

The procedure of admission is done through online. So the reservation benefits details are not published . The application form and other fee related are connected by Calicut University website. Exam conducted as semester wise it was easy . The admission procedure need improvement in the sector of details sharing and they need more people when the admission time comes.they have to clearly share the reservation and grants related details time to time .

- Student friendly Teachers with qualified and knowledgeable persons
- Have a good collections of books in Library including study material and novel, stories etc...
Dislikes
- There is no campus placement provided by the college
- There is no permanent teachers for Bsc Environmental science and water management

This course need minimum 70% in 12th science(any) Application form can be found in Calicut University website with a application fee around 100-200 Reservation had many benifits including scholarship and other consession in buying uniform,hostel facilities etc.. Exams are semester wise and they are pretty easy. Total 6 semester. Admission process can include seperate exams and interviews
Course Curriculum Overview:
Certain subject are updated. Faculties are good. The course is not tough as much.It helps to know more about finance, management, insurance etc.Since our specialization is computer application this course helped to get knowledge in various areas in computer.

Course Curriculum Overview:
The course is very good and latest. A fine and elaborated knowledge is provided by the professors on every topic. A regular 5-6 hours of class schedule and weekend practical knowledge is provided by the college. Also, the semester system is followed by the college authorities.

It is a beautiful place. I always sit in the school courtyard to enjoy its beauty.

The economics course at this college is worth checking out because the syllabus is very much more than just theories and attending classes. The course includes practical aspects as well like the employability part of the field etc.
