Remarks :

Overall RIT is better placing to study, to improve your skills, to groom your personality. Management, Administration, Faculty all are wonderful.

Course Curriculum Overview :

Faculty in RIT follows Uttarakhand Technical University syllabus. It includes all the necessary subjects and topic which helps students in their respective future. RIT administration also gives an opportunity to its students to prepare for interviews and competitive exams by giving them extra classes of PDP, GDs, mock tests, AMCAT etc.

Internships Opportunities :

YES they do. RIT give its students an opportunity to explore their skills in companies by allowing them to do internship but for those students only who do not have any backlogs in previous semesters.

College Events :

There are lots of events in RIT campus throughout the year. Basically there are three annual functions of RIT one for cultural, one for sports and one for technical. 'Anugoonj' is the name of cultural fest, 'Sportech' is the sports festival and 'Technomax' is the technical fest.

Fee Structure And Facilities :

Fee is structured in such a way that after paying a specific amount, student do not have to pay any hidden amount for any extra activity like Industrial training, Personality development classes, Group discussions, Gym, Sports etc. And if we talk about facilities RIT is providing quality to its students.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

RIT Roorkee providing many good scholarships to its students. Scholarships are based on merit or academic records of student. Sports Quota is there, Army quota, J&K quota, Women quota etc.

Campus Life :

RIT is actually a happening place in this region. There are many events throughout the year. Few of them are- Dj nights, Halloween parties, Medical camps, Exhibitions, International students day, Fresher party, Farewells. Many sports competition, debate competition etc.

Hostel Facilities :

Hostels for boys and girls are inside the campus with all world class facilities. Facility of Air condition and Non-Air condition rooms are available. A vegetarian and Non-vegetarian mess is also there, WiFi enables campus, 24X7 electricity with backup, water geyser etc.

External Expense : Rs.4000 - Rs.7000

Alumni/Alumna :

Senior batches and alumni of RIT are connected to each other through Watsapp groups and Facebook pages. They can share information and any discussion through that pages.

Exam Structure :

Exams are well structured and rightly placed in between the semester. There are two midterm exams scheduled after 2nd and 4th month of each semester. There are regular class tests, mock tests, assignment based tests etc for good preparation of final exams and at the end of semester UTU conducts final exams.

Admission :

I filled the UKSEE form for state counselling. I got options for three colleges in Uttarakhand. And the reputation RIT is carrying i choose RIT as first preference. I filled the admission form, three days later i reported at the campus. After visiting the campus i was impressed with the infrastructure, i fulfill all the formalities for admission and got admitted.

Faculty :

Faculty in RIT is the main pillar on which RIT is carrying its legacy. They are highly experienced and well qualified. Most of them are PhDs and junior faculty and assistant professors are M.techs, which is the least qualification for one to join RIT as faculty.

Placement is good in BTECH CSE .. As 70 % students are placed in Btech CSE 2024 . From 7 semester students btech are eligible for Placements round and many companies visit our campus like Google, Amazon, Microsoft, Adobe.. and the highest package was 52 lpa and average package is 6 lpa .. Many talented students got 50 lpa and above from top companies. ( MANG).

Honest review on GBPUAT

Placement Experience:

Eligibility for Placement is semester 7 and 8 which is 4th year. A number of companies visit the campus including HCL foundation, ICICI Bank, Mother Dairy, Godrej agrovet Ltd. Etc. I myself am thinking of going into research field so i'll have to do further studies in the same field.

My experience from graduating from GEU

Placement Experience:

The placement shows quantity but not quality, in my batch 60-70% students were placed with a highest package of 5lakh per annum and minimum package of 2.4 lakh. As per fees of college the average package seems low.

Review of DIT UNIVERSITY

Placement Experience:

This college has quite good placements for CS students. The average package of the college is 7 lpa which is quite decent. Last year the highest package offered was of 68 lpa at Palo Alto. The eligibility for sitting in placements are : - you should have a CGPA of 7 or above. - you are allowed to sit in placements from 7 semester.

The students are eligible for placements after 3rd year. There are companies who comes for placements. Its better if you are in the top 10 percent of the crowd. The college website mentions 70 percent students were placed. My plans are to go for gate exam or go with a good placement.

College of technology pantnagar from my eyes.

Placement Experience:

Placements are average there in year of 2024 2 students from our college get placement of 12lac per annum from a PSU called Bharat Electronics Ltd. In our civil highest placement is of around 4.5 lac from the company larsen and turbo. And rest companies basically offers marketing and sales job of around 3-4 lac per annum package.

Remarks:

I chose this college women institute of technology which is in Dehradun because it is the only government College which is for girls and it gives them technical knowledge. The college is funded by many government schemes which are very beneficial for us. We have different seminars winners from course in other things also to increase our soft skills as well as other skills. Hair in my 4 year experience I have learnt a lot a lot of things. We get free coaching for MTech i.e GATE classes and other employability training programs and that too free of cost.
