- Big campus we have 2100 acres campus which give fresh air and fresh thoughts so that we can spend pleasant life
- Infrastructure is best as we have organised campus with food eateries and canteens .
Dislikes
- Hostel facility can be better as being the biggest iit we can have some advanced facilities in the campus
Course Curriculum Overview :
Course Curriculum is diverse in iit Kharagpur, we have multi-disciplinary and we do have labs and projects where we can get basic knowledge to par the real world application, we have perfect schedule and credits to learn the knowledge in the subjects and we have Co curricular or extra curricular to improve all round development .
Placement Experience :
CDC conducts placement and internship in iit Kharagpur . All the final year students in IIT Kharagpur appear for placement, almost 70 percent people get placed in the companies , Highest package is almost 2 CR and average package is around 17 lakh , I want to work in Mech companies after my degree
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
We have different fees structure, we pay fees in three categories such as institute, semster and hostel fee . We pay 1 lakh for tution fee and other around 40 thousand . We can avail scholarship according to parents' incone . We have merit scholarships and different scholarship where students can exempt their institite fee
Campus Life :
My campus life is good we have different societies nearly 20 , where we can get all round development and can improve personality, we have two bigg annual fests called SF and KTJ where SF is socult fest , KTJ is tech fest which are biggest in Asia , we have biggest library with all the resources.
Admission :
To get in to IIT , We need to clear jee advanced , approximately 2 lakh people appear for exam and 12 k students join iit , Admission process goes through JOSAA , we have six rounds in JOSAA then we join the respective college .Exam difficulty level increases by every year . Regarding reservation we have qualify respective cutoff for their category and subject cutoff to qualify
