Remarks :

Emphasis on overall fitness and development, up-skilling and personality development can prove to be very useful, in molding citizens of tomorrow.

Entrance Preview :

Many factors come into play considering the selection but summing into key factors, extensive and knowledgeable faculty, splendid infrastructure, proximity to Infopark, Kochi; along with the flaunting 100% placement rate. The campus is close to my place of residence, also worked along.

Course Curriculum Overview :

The course curriculum followed is crafted by the KTU and incorporates core subjects along with other subjects that are certainly aiding in the process of all-round knowledge and understanding. Hands-on laboratory and other projects are offered to all students, based on the core subject opted by the student.

Internships Opportunities :

I'm unaware of the internship facilities in the college as the scheme is provided to students from and above the second year.

Placement Experience :

The campus is one of the few campuses that flaunt the 100% placement rate in Kerala. Owing to the fact that RSET is the host of many engineering and overall development programmes and seminars, wide-ranging opportunities and benefits are open to all.

College Events :

Techshethra, an annual tech fest; Bharatam, annual talent show; are some of the prime events in RSET, followed by minor events like seminars, forums, and other core-centric programmes. Cultural and religious festivals are also celebrated with separate individual events.

Fee Structure And Facilities :

The fee structure is relatively reasonable. Stipends and other scholarships are provided based on academic merit and need. Considering the facilities and quality of education provided, the fee structure is accurate and very reasonable to a normal student.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

I'm unaware of the loaning schemes provided if any. Scholarships are provided to meritorious students who score an excellent result in KEAM and have a rank below the allocated ranks for claiming the scholarship.

Campus Life :

The campus life is interesting, the gender ratio is balanced and the student body is highly diverse. The extracurricular activities are vast and wide-ranging, catering to the varied needs of many. Seminars, discussions, debates and forums are occasionally conducted.

Hostel Facilities :

The Hostel facilities and mess food prove to be very satisfactory and striking. Recreational parks, in campus gymnasium and other sporting facilities, are present and open to all. The wardens are particularly friendly and helpful. The hostels are located in close proximity to the college.

Alumni/Alumna :

The RSET alumni network is particularly strong and has members all around the globe. Many opportunities and facilities are provided by the RSET alumni team.

Exam Structure :

The exam structure is strictly adhering to the KTU schedule, a couple of internal tests along with the semester exam. The weightage of the individual examinations are listed by the KTU. Laboratory and other projects are also considered in the grading criteria.

Admission :

The admission procurement is directly dependent on the KEAM result along with other important criteria which is demanded in the admission interview. I got into the college, on a direct allotment from the merit list published by KEAM. The allotment is followed by a detailed interview.

Faculty :

The REST faculty is above/on par with the demanding ratio of the students present. The faculty proves to be helpful, approving and inspiring to students and are open to any and all suggestions and complaints considering scope of improvement. The faculty is more than willing to provide individual attention and help, to students.

Placement Experience:

Campus placements starts generally from the seventh semester in the fourth year. Nehru institutions have a lot of hold with multinational companies so a lot of companies like TCS, BPL, Amazon are offering placements to students who have no back papers. The highest package offered by companies is 9lakhs per year and the average salary is 4000/month. Mainly placements are offered to computer science engineering students comparatively.

Placement Experience:

The only student from the 4th year was eligible for campus placements. Every year nearly 88% of students got placed. Our batch was also not an exception. Most jobs were taken up by cse stream followed by our stream. Companies visited included Infosys, Cognizant Technology Solutions,ITC Infotech, Odessa Technologies, and others. The highest package of 5 lakhs was offered by Infosys.Cts offered 4 lakhs highest. The average package offered to all was 3 lakhs per annum.ITC offered 3.6 lakhs per annum. My plan after getting a degree was to join the job of CTS. Then I had dreams of an MBA in the future if possible since it would attract higher packages in the future. Many friends of mine got double offers. There were offers from. Sonodyne, Vodafone also. Since I got a job already,I didn't seat for Vodafone. Vodafone also offered a handsome package of 4 lakhs per annum.ZTE operations also took few students from our college
