The faculty is very helpful and tries to make sure to make students comfortable here.
Senior are very helpful and one of the plus point is No ragging culture here.

As we don't have our own campus this made think about the fee we are paying
Fee is little high as we were taught by NIT faculty so according to me fee should be around 70 for a semester

Course Curriculum Overview :

The curriculum is good as IIIT-Agartala don't have it's own campus. We share the campus with NIT- Agartala which is a one more plus point of this college coz u got a chance to study in NIT and with some brilliant students. The faculty who teaches us is NIT facuywhich is good, well behaved and helpful.

Class Size : 65Course Fees : INR 800000 per year

Internships Opportunities :

From 6th semester onwards you will get the chance to start internship and many companies like Google, Microsoft,TCS etc. visits here for internships. The roles offered by the companies are of software developer, app developers and web developers with stipend is around 1 lac. As per projects students do GSOC to improve there self.

Placement Experience :

From 6th semester that is 3rd year it self students are eligible for internships and from 4th year onwards they are eligible for placements. Many big tech companies visit here to recruit best students companies like Google, Microsoft, Deloitte, Oracle etc. Recent highest pakage is of 52 lac on the time of recession which is quite good. More than 80% students got placed here.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

The fee of full course is around 8 lac and yes, IIIT-AGARTALA have scholarships for students who have family income less than 5 as well as less than 8 lac per annum. And regarding campus employment opportunity this college is doing quite good because I'm seeing the progress with my own eyes.

Campus Life :

Fest life here is overall good and resently I got chance to be the part of event 'Moksha' on of the biggest college event in entire North-East India organized by both NIT and IIIT. And now we are going to witness first Tech-conclave in NIT and IIIT here. We have a a grand library here which is well equipped with books. We have largest stadium of entire north east which made this college a best better choice for sports enthusiasts. This college have variety of club but must active is Literary club and Tech club.

Hostel Facilities :

Hostels for first year student is good with well maintained sanitization of washrooms and bathrooms. And the hostel have 7 blocks and 7 floors in each block which give a mind calming view of surroundings and adds a fun to hostel Life. Meal is decent here and menu is just above average. Registration process is quite simple here.

Hostel Fee : INR 20000 per year

Admission :

If student who have cleared JEE Mains is eligible for admission in college. You have to select college through JOSSA for admission process. All India reservation is applicable here, no homestate reservation. The admission process is very smooth no changes required as faculty is very helpful.

Let's know all about NIT Agartala

Placement Experience:

From 7th semester students are getting offered for college placements. There are total 300-400 companies visit in our college and make around 600-700 offers. I got placed in ORC ENGINEERING having a LPA of 2.5-3.5 . The highest package of 2024 year is round 40 lakhs and average package is roughly around 5 LPA. Around Total 60% students placed this year. My next plan is to prepare for gate exams along with my jobs.

A Good College

Placement Experience:

Students can sit for placement from 3rd year itself. Though it is highly unlikely that placement offers come in 3rd year as it comes mostly in 4th year, but there has been cases where 3rd year students also get placed. Besides placement, one can even get good internships which based upon their performance can later get turned to a placement offer. Many good companies have visited and have hired students from this college.

A student's perspective of NIT Agartala

Placement Experience:

The student become eligible for campus placement after sixth semester. Gennerally, students who maintained their cgpa above 7.5 gets placed. There were many companies which visited for placements. Software firms such as Oracle, Nvidia, Paypal, Seimens, Paytm, Rapido, Mathworks, Dell, Qualcomm, Chargebee, etc. Core manufacturing companies such as Vedanta oil and gas, Dalmia, Maruti suzuki, CEAT tyres, Ashok Leyland, etc. The percentage rate of placement is around 85%. The highest package is INR 52 LPA offered to CSE and EE branch students. Also Oracle offered placements to around 20 students with CTC of INR 35 LPA. Average package of CSE if INR 14.5 LPA whereas for ECE, it is INR 13.84 LPA. After getting the degree, my plan is to get good placement from the college where i can get good work experience and also i am planning to do masters from IIt for which i will prepare for gate examination.
