In hostel we got good food it's quite delicious

The development environment in college is little low

Course Curriculum Overview :

The course curriculum is little bit outdated but the faculty tries to make it more relevant and comprehensive for students so that they can participate in real world problems in college the exams conducts as in the series of 2 internal exam and one final exam per semister

Class Size : 60Course Fees : INR 20000 per year

Internships Opportunities :

Our college provides quite good internship one in 4th sem and one in 8th sem the internship goes from 2 weeks to 4 weeks on 8th sem we got the option for practical and intership work if we choose internship we have to submiya report of our work authorised by workplace

Placement Experience :

Our college provides opportunities in campus placements but many of students opt out due to less sallery outcome the highest package our college got is about 7lpa near about 35to 40% of students got placement

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

The fees structure of college on the admission time is around 23000 and 18000 onwards for next 7 semesters the college also provides scholarship to the students in need and it has a process of applying it and students with govt. Schemes can also available the scholarship

Campus Life :

Our college provides a decent campus life as most of students are day scholars I am a hostel student and the facilities provided are on down side Our college has also some of clubs for students to participate

Hostel Facilities :

The hostel is quite good in accomodation but the development is little low the rooms are not maintained regularly and we face some problems but it is manageable the affordability of hostel is reasonable for many students

Hostel Fee : INR 36000 per year

Admission :

The admission process of the college is easy and very student friendly . The application form is present in the website and published on the national news paper the entrance exam is of 3 hours and have negative marking

Placement Experience:

After 6th semester students are eligible for campus placement.The placements here are decent oncampus and easy to take but if you go offcampus for the placements it get tougher so building your personality also places important role in getting placed

From 7 semester students are elegible to give placements and internship opportunities open after completing 4 semester.Companies like infosys , nvidia , tech mahindra , tata tcs , wipro , vedanta , and far more companies psu also gail , bhel , hp , bp if no placements you get then you have the chance of offcampus placements.

Awesome moment to rethink about my university.

Course Curriculum Overview:

We have 4 branch right now. I was interested in cyber security because it's such a field which can't be taken by AI. And our university also provide internship under DRDO. Similarly we have Avionics branch and every year our professor select some brilliant student for the internship and send them to IIST for the project under ISRO.

About my college

Remarks:

The management does not work for the growth of students traits they just handle the classes and teachers.

Admission:

There is JKCET entrance exam in j&k for the admission to engineering colleges in j&k.The merit list is prepared and you got the admission. Since it is a minority college 50 percent seats are reserved for sikhs for that there is another entrance exam for sikhs.
