Remarks :

College management is very supportive. They always take initiatives for students. Overall RIT is a good college. I give 9 out of 10.

Entrance Preview :

I heard about the atmosphere of this college. According to the pass out students study culture is very good in RIT. Campus facilities are awesome. Cafeteria is very good, food quality is very very good. After my experience in RIT i advice everyone to take admission in RIT.

Course Curriculum Overview :

Course curriculum is as per the UTU guidelines. UTU syllabus fro MCA includes subjects like computer network, graphics, software engineering, cryptography, DAA, multimedia system etc. which means MCA syllabus includes all the major subjects of computer engineering.

Internships Opportunities :

Yes RIT provides opportunities to its students to do internships. But only for those who do not have any backlog.

Placement Experience :

Placement cell is doing good job. They bring some big brands like BYJU's, JUSTDIAL, TATA PROJECTS, BAJAJ AUTOS, MAHENDRA & MAHENDRA etc. they visit the campus regularly for recruitment. Some students of RIT are currently working in many multi-national companies.

College Events :

There are many small and big events throughout the year. Few of the big events are- ANUGOONJ, which is the cultural fest and annual function of the college. There is also SPORTECH for sports, TECHNOMAX for technical fest, HALLOWEEN party, DJ nights etc.

Fee Structure And Facilities :

No, its not too much. For MCA, one have to pay 81,000 rupees for first year and for second year onwards 79,000 rupees. There are many scholarships also for the students. The scholarships are like you can even get 100% tution fees as scholarship. If you are topper of your stream, RIT is the place for you.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

Scholarships are meritorious. Sports quota, Army quota, Kashmiri quota, Women quota, Topper's quota are there.

Campus Life :

Campus is full of extracurricular activities like blood donation camps, RITian street, cloth distribution to poor childrens etc. Technical exhibitions are there, many competitions(like speech, debate etc) are adding values to the glory of the campus.

Hostel Facilities :

Hostel facilities are very good. There are separate hostels for boys and girls. Girls hostel is one of the best in North India. Separate Veg and Non-veg mess. WiFi enable campus, 24X7 electricity supply with backup, the campus is neat and green, the atmosphere is peaceful.

Alumni/Alumna :

Watsap groups, facebook pages are created for alumni. College organizes regular alumni meet for them.

Exam Structure :

Exams are structured in such a way that every student get an opportunity to prepare for final exams. There are two sessional exams every semester. Regular class tests and assignments are the highlight point of course. At the end of semester UTU conduct final exams.

Admission :

The admission criteria in RIT is based on merit. I applied for MCA, after two days i received a call from admission cell. They gave me all information about the scholarships RIT is providing. Then i visited the campus, there admission counselor of RIT took my interview and on the basis of this interview i got the admission.

Faculty :

Faculty of RIT is highly qualified and experienced. They always prefer to teach practically instead of theory. Most of them are PhDs and M.Techs from well-reputed college. Digital lectures are an integral part of their teaching methods which is very helpful for students to understand the things.

Placement Experience:

Placements for Agriculture, Veterinary, Fishery and Community Science world is phenomenal over here. But not so good for technology world. There is huge range of placements in tech ranging from 3 LPA to 30 LPA. Students here become scholars and generally prefer to continue studying after completion of course and generally get enrolled in higher studies even till PhD. From there it becomes easier to step out in world as now you're highly qualified. But even you're not and leave college MCA or BTech, there is high possibility of getting somewhere and substantial growth.
