Remarks :

There is nothing to say bad in institute. The everything experienced in an year seems that they have everything best in quality.

Entrance Preview :

I want to pursue my engineering in Textile Technology so I opted for Institute of Chemical Technology. There are so many option available other than ICT but the exposure that you get in ICT won't be available anywhere.ICT provides B.Tech degree in Fibres and Textile Processing Technology.

Course Curriculum Overview :

Course curriculum here is excellent.First year includes the basic subject like physics; chemistry-physical,analytical,organic; Mathematics, Engineering drawing, communication skills and the other basic ones. Then after that the classes are differentiated branch wise and then exact course starts.

Internships Opportunities :

I don't know much about that as I am still in the second year of my Engineering Degree. But as I know a little bit that after third year there must be a three-month internship which is compulsory to all the students.

Placement Experience :

Placements and Job opportunities here are main concern.Everywhere you search about ICT's placement then they will say that there is almost 60-70% placements only. But the actual thing is most of the students here are research orientated so they go to M.Tech or MBA to pursue further studies and that's why the placement percentage is little big less.

College Events :

So finally. We can't even discuss because there are too many events that are celebrated in ICT.FRESHERA EVENT for fresher which continues for a month after college starts. Then there is VORTEX which Asia's largest chemfest. In second sem there will be lot of events such as Manzar when celebraties come over ICT,YUVAM which is especially for hostellites,SPORTSAGA- a sport event. And there are lot of other events goes through the year almost after every 15 days.

Fee Structure And Facilities :

Fee structure is extremely feasible. As the Institute is government funded the fees are quite less compared to other colleges.Fee for OPEN category students is almost 80,000.TFWS category students have to pay just 60,000.For OBC students fees are lesser than that anout 40,000.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

I don't know much about that. But there are too many scholarships offered by institute.almost 20 from our batch got scholarship of almost 45,000.

Campus Life :

The extracurricular activities are too good here and they are frequently happen in campus.Campus life here is awesome. No senior will act as he is senior.Everybody is helping in nature.Gender Ration is almost 1:1.There is box cricket ground,Football turf , Volleyball turf in the campus.Every of the 4 hostel has its own TV room.Gym is also available for gym freakers.

Hostel Facilities :

Hostel and Mess facility at Institute of Chemical Technology is the best ever you can get.Hostel and mess together costs around 50,000 but the mess food quality is awesome. The breakfast they give is sufficient to take you even till evening. There are lot of options available in breakfast ,Lunch ,Dinner they separately maintain your account as per the things you decided to take in meal.

Alumni/Alumna :

Alumni network of our institute is so much strong. We have a lot of alumni in every part of the world.Mr.Mukesh Ambani is also our alumni.

Exam Structure :

Exams are quite tough here in the Institute of Chemical Technology. There are general exams like Continuos Assessment Tests (CAT) ,Midsems & Endsem. In every sem will have 4 exams. Two CATS,midsem and an endsem. There are no thing like assignments in the ICT which is probably the best thing for engineering student. But the exam papers are quite tough.

Admission :

One can get admission in ICT on the basis of marks obtained in MHCET or JEE MAINS.For admission process you have to go through DTE's online admission process as usual. As the college is govt. aided there are no seats available for Institute quota. So you have to strictly follow the DTE's admission process.

Faculty :

The faculty at Institute of Chemical Technology is just more than awesome.A lot from them had pursued Ph.D in their respective subjects. Most of them live in campus itself so they are ready to help u in studies whenever required. Some of them are little bit strict but I personally think that some strictness is also necessary.so overall faculty at ICT is a way better.

Students become eligible for placement from 7th sem but the training and stuff starts from 5th sem onwards. I don't really know much about the placements since I'm not planning on doing job after graduation and probably gonna do masters in the future.

Course Curriculum Overview:

So to be honest B.E course is a 4 years engineering course and it is not that easy and not too hard also. It needs a lot of focus, hardwork and practice to clear all exams. There are bunch of students who takes admission in B.E in first year but most of the students do back off in second year or some of them gets failed and gets an year drop. B.E course can be more efficient if we follow the teaching pattern like abroads. Less theory more practicals for students to understand properly.

Placement Experience:

From 7th and majorly form the 8th semester the students become eligible for the campus placement. Every year many companies visit our college like Goldman Sachs, Google, Infosys ,TCS , oracle, etc and offer a great amount of package to many students many students even get PPO. The highest package of this year was somewhere 61LPA and the average was 9 LPA. Somewhere around 82-83% students were placed this year and with good amount of packages My plan after getting the degree is pursuing a master's degree in abroad
