- Soo this college basically have a good space which makes the campus looks really attractive and big enough for students.
- The teaching faculty which comes from outstation are fabulous in their teaching method as well as very understanding and supportive towards students growth in life.
Dislikes
- This college should specially try to raise their standards and try to compete with the best of college's in pune by giving admissions to students who are really hard working and specially should stop entertaining students from nearby areas.
- The worst part of siddhant college of engineering is that they do not have any kind of sports Authority or staff in charge.
Course Curriculum Overview :
So to be honest B.E course is a 4 years engineering course and it is not that easy and not too hard also. It needs a lot of focus, hardwork and practice to clear all exams. There are bunch of students who takes admission in B.E in first year but most of the students do back off in second year or some of them gets failed and gets an year drop. B.E course can be more efficient if we follow the teaching pattern like abroads. Less theory more practicals for students to understand properly.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
So basically the college fees without any scholarship applied for open category fees is 65000 Rs. And for every year the college fees is same for open category. There are also various lower economic class background students like SC, OBC etc who are eligible for prime minister scholarship whereas such students have to pay lesser fees than open category students. The fee structure for lower economic class background student depends upon their Caste category. So the amount of fees paid by such students starts from minimum of 5000 to maximum of 36000 every year.
Campus Life :
Soo the famous event in this college is spandan which is celebrated every year. And the festival events that is been celebrated im siddhant college of engineering are ganpati, shivaji jayanti, navratri.
Hostel Facilities :
The boys hostel contains of 4 floor where every room contains 2 students in one room. And in girls hostel there is also 4 floor but rooms are lesser compared to boys hostel because every room here is if 1bhk flat type where there are total of 8 girls in 1 room. There is a private mess for both girls hostel as well as boys hostel.
Admission :
Soo eligibility to get admission in this college is via clearing any 3 entrance exams which is very much necessary to study engineering. The entrance exams are JEE Mains, JEE Advance and CET. So as I cleared my CET I Applied for top 10 colleges in pune which comes under savitri bai phule university. And in the first round I was alloted genba mozerao college but I didn't took admission there because it did not get good review before and second round my name was alloted in siddhant college of engineering so mainly there are only 2 rounds for admission so without any choice and ya the reviews of this college was better than the college that was alloted to me before soo I took admission in siddhant college of engineering.
Faculty :
Soo basically there are lot of facilities in this college like student section, account section, exam commitee, management commitee, non teaching staff facility, teaching staff facility, Head of departments facility, etc.. Soo the staff that I liked among them is the student section facility, head of departments facility, exam committee and management facility because all this facility works in a well mannered way and do have a great bond with all students. Coming to the facilities that I dislike is the account section, non teaching staff and teaching staff beacuse all these facilities are mostly not that good with their works as well as all these facilities have hired employees from the area where the college is situated itself and does not have a great bond with students who are basically outsiders and stay in hostels. Coming to exam so B.E is a 4 year course where every year contains of 2 semesters where the total semesters in entire 4 years is 8 semesters. Each semesters contains two exam which is mainly known as insem exam which contains of 30 marks and the paper is set as well as checked by the college staff itself, and the second exam is known as endsem which contains of 70 marks and the paper here is set and checked by the university.
Night Life :
Soo the college has ons gym, 2 play grounds with one basketball court. There is one cafeteria in the campus as well as there is a college canteen and 1 library inside the college and there is very beautiful environment and hill station kind of places containing mountains and some worship places on the mountains like bhamchandra and bhandara dongar. Also just a few distance ahead of the college there is NDRF Camp. There is also boys and girls hostel inside the campus itself behind the college owned by the management itself. The timings for girls of hostel is till 9:00pm and for boys of hostel is till 10:00pm.
