Course Curriculum Overview :
The subjects in the curriculum are appropriate starting with basic subjects for every branch in first year then the core subjects for particular branch. It slowly graduates towards deep topics and then specialization subjects. The teaching is far better than many private colleges and even some government colleges. There isn't as such improvement but the teachers may look into the students results and help them improve and focus.
Placement Experience :
Students become eligible for placements in 7th semester, there are many companies like Mahindra, Tata, Infosys etc that offer internships and placements. The highest package went to 20 LPA and average is 6 LPA. Around 90% of the students get placed from every batch. However my plans are to pursue Masters in Automotive Engineering after this degree.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
Tuition fees is very reasonable even for non fee waiver students. The total amount all over the degree is even less than fees per year in many colleges. There are many scholarships like an exam based on High school subjects which provides scholarship. Which gives around 50% of fees.
Campus Life :
There are many fests which are organised by students themselves by the help of sponsorships and college funds. Like Anand Utsav, Apex Inter School Competition, Acme Inter college etc. Library has around every book under the courses with many different authors. There are many research papers and thesis available. Classrooms are decent and the labs have all facilities and infrastructure available. The extra curricular activities are really good and there's a large sports complex. There are various societies run by students like Causmic club, Society of Automotive Engineers, NSS, etc.
Admission :
The eligibility was based on High School score and application form was on college website. After few days the college would call for admission process. There isn't any entrance exam however from next year they started to admit students on the basis of JEE score. The admission process is good but it needs to add a counselling round too as students may opt for wrong branch which maybe far from their interests.
