  • Some old Subjects, which is out of trend now
  • No break in sems exams. There is not gap between exams, it's a continuous exams

Course Curriculum Overview :

Since I didn't wanted to drop one year and neither I had scored good marks in JEE Mains I preferred doing BCA from a reputed college rather than doing btech from a private college . An advice if doing BCA or betch from private college , focus on colleges which gives campus placement. Course Structure for BCA is quite good , you allmost cover major subjects which are taught in btech in aspect of computer domain only . You also get enough time to prepare for future exams , like NIMCET , CAT , placement preparation etc. Faculty for some subjects are really good and for some are really bad.Like for discrete ,DSA,OOPs ,Cloud Computing and Software Computing I really had got very good faculties. You have quizes , mid sem and end sem. If you study and go for mid sems and end sems, then paper are good enough to score. For Courses , including subjects what is needed in tech industry is what I feel will be helpful and intresting at the same time.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

There are a variety of scholarship available for students for e.g If you are residence of Jharkhand and if you are topper of your class you get scholarship also if you are OBC or SC , ST you get scholarship. Fees structure for the course is high what I feel .For a three year course program 4.5 lakh is a big amount. With such high paying amount a good number of companies, students should get for campus placement. For my senior batch , a lot of companies came to campus and almost those who wanted to be placed they got placed in one or the other company , but for my year it wasn't same .Only 3 companies came to campus . For my next junior batch the fees has also been increased from 4.5lakhs to 6lakhs. Hence if college can provide companies for placement it's good other wise it's not worth paying such huge amount. For BBA course college provides internship also but there no such scenario for BCA students.

Campus Life :

The interior infrastructure is very good , you have projectors , good single table chair set up , labs are also there , a good library is there . Till 2023 there used to be different societies for which a proper pitch , form selection and interview used to be there .Each societies used to do atleast 2 events in 6 months and in total there were 6 societies. But after I graduated I came to know that all the societies were disbanded and new societies were created , and then they make new events . Apart from these , BIT MESRA has its BITOTSAV event in which you can go and enjoy the event for 3 days . From 2023 BIT Extension had its own event named at AURORA Many sports events also take place in campus like kabbadi, volleyball, tug of war etc . My campus life was best because of the BIZWIT Society

Admission :

Hello Everyone , I am 2023 BCA graduate Since I have graduated from BIT Extension Centre, Lalpur , I'll be sharing my experience and honest reviews on how is the admission process , criterions , environment inside the college , learning opportunities and future oriented opportunities. Starting with the admission process . Admission till 2022 was based on one's own 12 th percentage as from 2023 onwards CUET came into picture . Criterion for BCA branch 1.60 % and above in 10th boards . 2.Maths , Computer and English as a compulsory subject in your 12th standard. After applying for admission, merit list are made as per your percent scored in 12th boards . There are 2 merit lists in total , but still chances of 3rd list is also there , condition if seats are not filled for the particular branch or a large number of students have applied for that branch . Reservation benefits are also made , for those who belong to reserved seats class , scoring ok ok percentage is good enough for them

Course Curriculum Overview:

Everything about the curriculum is great ..with the key concepts ..one who studies correctly can get themselves ready for jobs etc. the curriculum is made in a very efficient and useful manner. However their are chances of improvement in the practical subjects .. practical subjects should be focused on more in the curriculum

Course Curriculum Overview:

The college provides some of the most demanded courses in today's time such as in fields of computer, business, medical and many more. But the scheduling of examinations are not good as we get very less time gaps between the semester examinations.

Placement Experience:

1) Only 2 or 3 companies will come for placement and for another companies your have to go other colleges. 2)For placement your have to concentrate in your aptitude and programming section from 3 semester. 3) Practical classes are limited so your have to prepare by your own. You must have to buy one laptop to do your own practical if you want placement. 4)If you have done mini project and major project by own (In your laptop and upload in guithub account) you will definitely clear your interview. Most of the students don't make their projects in laptop they only buy because of that they didn't clear their interview.

Placement Experience:

The Bachelor of Computer Applications students become eligible for campus placements from the 6th semester onwards. Companies like Infosys, Tech Mahindra, Byjus, etc visit our campus for placements. The average salary package range from 1.5lpa to 3lpa for Bachelor of Computer Applications students. About 50 to 60% of students get placement from our university. My plan is to pursue MCA after completing my BCA.

Placement Experience:

A. Computer Science and Engineering is the best option in terms of placements. CSE graduate was offered the highest salary package during Amity University placements 2020. The companies like Amazon, Infosys etc visits to campus. The highest package is given of 30 lakhs per annum by a japan company. 98% of students are been placed by the college. It can give 100% placement but some students take external placements. The placement team of Amity is very helpful and helps students get placed in various companies and helped me to get placed in Aricent.

Placement Experience:

Now as per my knowledge and via teachers knowledge there is campus placement offers by local companies. These companies visit in our college and recruit eligible students. Sometimes some companies like Mahindra, Bajaj etc visit in our college. The average package is about 3 lakhs And the minimum is about 80k. After my graduation completion I'll work as part time for local companies and continue my study in MCA.
