Course Curriculum Overview :

i chose computers science course which i am generally intrested before coming to the college the college curriculum can give you a little insight of real world applications . ours curriculum is more based on theoretical point of view .frequency of exams in our college is low compared to other colleges

Class Size : 80Course Fees : INR 206000 per year

Internships Opportunities :

i personally not yet came to the internship stage as of now I am studying 4th. sem internships start from 6th sem i think some mediocre companies approach our college for internships and the stipends may be 20k per month or something like that

Placement Experience :

i think from 6th sem students are eligible for campus placments .companies like oracle microsoft sometimes google visit our college for last year highest package around 35lpa and cse average package is 13 lpa.in cse placement percentage is 90%

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

compared to other iiits the fee in iiit kancheepuram is comparitively lower at 2 lakh per academic year.the hikes are very low for year to year in our college.maximum 10 lakhs are needed for complete btech course.i dont know about scholarships but there are many scholarships for reserved candidates.ive not taken any campus employments yet

Campus Life :

we have three main fests in our college samgatha the culutural fest ,vashisht the technical fest,inter iiit sports meet,we have wide range of books regarding academics but other magazines and story books are not so abundant.the facilities of classrooms are good.our college has great sports culture and wide range of sports equipment and facilities.there are socials groups in our college which will clean our campus often

Hostel Facilities :

our college has three 14 storied hostels currently some rooms are big which are for first years and third years and small rooms for second and fourth years , our rooms has basic facilites like fan light windows cords and a high speed lan port attached to wall which can give 800mbps .quality of mess is okayish ,registration process for hostel and mess are done in same day as course registrations hostel+mess fee is very affordable 30k per sem

Hostel Fee : INR 30000 per year

Admission :

I took Jee Main entrance exam minimum percentile for a general student is 98 percentile for cse the application form can be found in Josaa also the application fees and its dates jee mains is a moderately tough exam the waiting time is more during the application process in our college

Great College to Lean Good Engineering Knowledge

Placement Experience:

From the Final year last semester, the students are eligible for campus placement. For mechanical there are a lot of core companies that come for placements. Also, even IT Companies take some of our mechanical students. The percentage of the students who get placed is 90% on average. Some of the core companies are LPT(Lakshmi Precision Tools), SAEW, NVH, PDS, S.S.FASTENERS, RENAULT NISSAN MITSUBISHI. The highest salary package offered is 5 lakhs per annum and on average is 3 lakhs per annum.

Dream to achieve big

Placement Experience:

From semester 6, they will provide campus placement offers. It depends on the students. Many companies will be visiting the college every year. Infosys, IBM, tata, reliance, and many more top companies will be visiting. We may get enormous offers from companies. The highest package is 12laks and average package is 2laks. Nearly every single student will be placed, except some slow learners and who are not mentally prepared one's. My plans after my degree are to get a deserved job and should be profitable.
