Daulat Ram College (DRC) : what the things you should have to Know.

The faculty at our institution is predominantly well-qualified with PhD , provinding excellent education and valuable life suggestions. while some incidents of discrimination were observed, overall, the faculty's dedication, professionalism, and cooperative nature left a positive impact on students, making challenging subjects like math more accesible.

The Daulat Ram has its placement cell and many companies visit for recruiting students like Deloitte, Byjus, Pine Labs, Google, Wipro, Infosys etc. I got an internship in StockGro as a Content writer with a good stipend.

The placement scenario at my college is generally positive, with several reputable companies visiting the campus for recruitment. The highest package ranges from 19 to 20 Lakhs INR, with an average package of 6 Lakhs. The percentage of students securing placement is reported to be between 70-90%, which is a promising statistics.

The college offers a budget-friendly fee structure with various scolorship oppurtunities for economically weaker section (EWS) students, providing essential updates on government and college scholarships. while some appreciate the affordability and minimal fees, others criticize the high fees compared to government colleges. Despite the mixed opinions on fees, some students have found valuable internship oppurtunities with good stipends to cover basic expenses.

There's enthusiasm about the fest "Manjari" and various other cultural events, creating a vibrant and engaging campus life. The presence of clubs and societies, such as the Literary Society, Science Club, and sports related group like NSO, adds a diverge range of activities for students to participate in. The mention of a fresher party, Diwali mela, miss DRC, and garba night adds to the festive atmosphere. However there are concerns raised about certain aspects of the college. The library having limited number of books available, causing students to shuffle books.The ACs and the projectors are not working constantly. And the basketball court being surrounded by chairs and rendering it unusable.

The student have to clear the CUET (UG) Entrance exam held every year , and once the CUET (UG) results has been declared, then the student have to register themselvev on the DU portal and then the seat allocation for the given program should be done through CSAS ( Common Seats Allocation Stystem).
