Course Curriculum Overview :

I chose this code because of my interest in coding. Faculty student ratio is 15:1. Many senior faculties are PhD holders or mtech holders from top iits. They try to help student for better academic performance. Term exam are always on Time and taken in strict guidance.

Class Size : 75Course Fees : INR 240000 per year

Internships Opportunities :

Companies like oracle dell Amazon deloitte cognizant visit here for placement and internship and provide stipend upto 1 lakes. They pickup student for back end and front end roles.projects done by students are giving priority by companies.

Placement Experience :

Students can get campus placement from 7th semester and internship from 5th semester. Total 67 companies visited in year 2023. Oracle dell deloitte and cognizant visit here . Highest package was 39 lpa and average was 13 lpa in 2023. Almost 90 percent students get placed.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

Fees for four year is roughly equal to 12 lakhs. Semester fee is fixed at the starting of four year program. Tuition fee waiver is given to local residents of orissa and no tfw for other states students. Stipend upto one lakh is given by companies during internship.

Campus Life :

Many small events are conducted throughout the year. however annual fest advaita is conducted with a good expenditure. Library is equipped with all necessary books and journals.classro9m consist of fans only and no ac and speakers are available.sports event are conducted very few times in the year . Many coding clubs ,drama clubs and music clubs are conducted by students.

Hostel Facilities :

Hostels are three seater and is mandatory for all first year. Each room have three beds fans and chairs . Mess quality is very poor and sometimes not edible. Hostel is given during the admission time. It's locality is gothapatna and some apartments can be found for rented pg.

Hostel Fee : INR 18000 per year

Admission :

Odisha students need to apply through college website on the basis of jee rank they will get admission for them half the seats in college is reserved. Half is for other state students they will also get admission on basis of jee rank through JOSSA process.

Review regarding Nalanda Institute of Technology(NIT), Bhubaneswar

Placement Experience:

From the 7th semester students become eligible for campus placements where they have to show their skills to the interviews in order to get placement. The name of the companies visited are Infosys, Oracle, Dalmia, Tata. The average package the companies give is around 3 to 4 lacs. My plan after getting the degree is to already settle by getting a placement.

According to seniors , placements are good and decent comparing to other nits . After 6 semester , company are hiring for placements . Many companies has visited more than enough . Highest package I seen in 23 is 1.12 CR in rubrik from senior . My plans after degree is doing sde job at company.

Reality of GIFT college

Placement Experience:

Placements! Once upon a time in year 2016-17 Amazon, Oracle etc used to come... Now all are just less paying startups who select for 3,4,4.5 lpa on average Yeah some get 9-10lpa if they are really good, opportunities are always there for good students, but not more than this... If you're dreaming a 13,15,20,50lpa package, don't wake up, it's not possible in real life here (atleast till now)

Students are available from 7th semester for their placements. In CSE almost all people get placement and in us and ece ratio is good but in below branch placement is average. I want to do a job in the software field.

This college provides a good environment for professional study. I got alloted to the college through my entrance mark so i chose it. It was my dream to study Electrical engineering but i didn't got the branch in any other college and i got the department over here so i thought it would be better to study here

Placement Experience:

Various companies visit our campus for recruitment. Among those companies the name of some big companies are TATA, INFOSYS, ACCENTURE, JINDAL, LNT. For being able to sit in the interview for any campus a student must have scored a minimum of 7 cgpa and must have good communication skills. In my knowledge there is no big startup by our batch.
