Course Curriculum Overview :

I like Electronics subject so I opted it. The faculty here is awesome and one of the best and friendly faculty. The teachers or professor here are highly qualified like done there PHD's in nits and IITs. Difficultly of exam is moderate and if we learn 2hrs a day it is easy to pass the exam

Class Size : 140Course Fees : INR 320000 per year

Internships Opportunities :

This time MaciML, CDAC, IBM and still there these companies offered interships to the third year students. There will a project demonstration in 4th year and every student must participate and must give presentation

Placement Experience :

From fourth year students are eligible for placements and from third year students are eligible for internship. There are nearly 25+ companies visited this year and still going on and more then 60+ they had offered. As of now there no details of highest and lowest package since still going on.

Fees and Financial Aid :

The fee for IIIT Kottayam is moderate like when compared to other IIITs. There will be a hike of 5000/- per semester for every branch and fee Is same for every branch. There will be NSP program so students can avail there scholarship through the portal.

Campus Life :

The campus is situated on hill, so it will be moderate hot and cool. There will be annual fest in March month. There is a central library within the campus and it covers all the subjects and journals. There will be sports and competitions conducted in the college for every 1 to 1 and Half month.

Hostel Facilities :

Hostels are located some what top of the hill so it will be most of the time but in summer it will be hot. There will a fan and three beds and 2 shelfs. The meal quality is good and menu will be updated every semester.

Hostel Fee : INR 60000 per year

Admission :

The admission is through JEE MAINS for the college. The eligibility criteria of the course is we have to pass the JEE mains atleast with 91+ percentile for OBC candidates. There is no application form like that we have to keep the preference of this college in JEE mains counciling and fee structure and remaining details can be found in college main website.

CUSAT Cochin campus- best college life you can get in kerala

Placement Experience:

Students are eligible for placement from semester 6. Many of the largest companies such as Cisco, IBM, Wipro etc come for placements. The largest package was 40 LPA from IT department and average package is 6 LPA. Last year's batch had placement percentage of 90%. My future plans are to try my best for placements, no plans for suture studies as of now.

My College Life at FISAT

Placement Experience:

Mostly the students get prepared for placements in the third year. Placement training is usually started in the mid of the third year. According to the passed out students and our seniors, the institution has enough good placements compared to other private institutions. The students get placed in MNCs like IBM, TCS, Infosys, Accenture, SAP, Wipro, CTS, IBS, UST Global, Government and Public Sector companies like BARC, ONGC, Powergrid, Delhi Metro and commercial banks like Federal Bank, South Indian Bank, Core Engineering companies like MRF, Apollo Tyres, Sobha, Procsys, Kalkitech etc speaks volumes about the professional excellence of students.The major activities of the Placement and Training Cell include coordinating the Campus placement activities of the college Conducting regular training for improving the soft-skills and conducting regular tests, GD`s and Mock Interviews. The major thrust area of the placement cell is training programs. Every student undergoes at least 150 hours of training programs which is spread across the years of study. They are trained by the best in the industry. Career guidance and placement orientation is ensured through sessions organised in-house and support from experts from outside. Guidance on how to prepare for various competitive exams like GATE, CAT, MAT, GRE, UPSC, PG entrance examinations etc. are also provided. Despite the economic uncertainties and industry challenges, the Class of 2024 achieved remarkable success in campus recruitment. A total of 78 students secured packages of 7LPA or more, with 484 offers from 76 companies. The highest package reached 15LPA, while the average package stood at a respectable 5.7LPA. Notable recruiters included TCS, CTS, SAP, Tataelxsi, People10, SOTI, UST, and Qburst. Core companies like Cadence, Schneider, Kalkitech, Procsys, Aarbee Structures, RDC, Saint Gobain, Dalmia, Walkaroo OEN, and Tejas Networks also hired students.
