Course Curriculum Overview :

The curriculum is really good. I had choosen iiit kottayam because the only college in jossa which offers cse with specialization in cyber security. All the faculties are phd holders from prestigious colleges of india. There is one mid and end sem exams

Class Size : 143Course Fees : INR 240000 per year

Internships Opportunities :

Many companies visited our college during placements. Amazon, deloitte, wipro.. etc... For more companies you can visit official site of iiit kottayam. All the updated details are mentioned in the college website.

Placement Experience :

Maximum students are eligible for placements from 7th semester ig. The highest package is 58.9lpa Average package is 14lpa The median package is 11lpa I am interested to doing job after my graduation.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

The fees is high compared to other national colleges. The college gives support for various state scholarships. The highest placement in our college is 58.9lpa Our college has tie up with many banks which gives loan upto 30 lakhs without any collateral

Campus Life :

The annual fest apoorv takes place every year in the month of march. The onam event aarvam during onam season. And the freshers fest called adavya. Our clg gives full support for sports. There is a sports fest called pradhva and also you can participate in inter iiit sports meet.

Hostel Facilities :

The college provide Hostel facility. The hostels are very spacious and ventilated. The hostels are surrounded by full of nature. The hostel food is good. The allocation for hostel will be at the time of your admission only. Alll the rooms are 3-sharing rooms

Hostel Fee : INR 56000 per year

Admission :

The admission process is through jossa counselling. The one who want to join this college should write jee mains exam. The cutoff for general category in iiit kottayam is Cse is 35k Ece is around 50k

NIT Cailcut-The Good,Bad and the Ugly

Placement Experience:

Students can apply for campus placements by the beginning of the 4th year.High paying companies are attracted by the placement cell which offer good packages to the students. The average packages for the circuital branch are pretty high. Each year about 200 companies are invited. The highest package for Electrical and Electronics has gone upto 38LPA with average package of about 14LPA in the graduation year 2024.About 128 students had registered out of which 120 students were placed.The minimum salary offered was 5LPA.

Is engineering here worth it?

Placement Experience:

Students are eligible from 7th semester to sit for interviews. The pod.ai app helps us in making the resume and calculating a cgpa to appear for the intwrviews. The pod.ai registration fees is 500?. Companies such as nissan,infosys,commandtech,bimlabs,gulfasia etc has visited . And the highest package was 11 LPA and lowest was 3 LPA
