What Students Say

Likes

One thing i loved about the university is the behaviour and respect towards others. This course has broad scope in the upcoming world. Everyone is this university behaves good and with respect. Every senior treats like elder brother and sister withh.
Library facilities are also very good for the students.
Our faculty have wide area to perform agricultural experiments.

Dislikes

The thing i disliked is the fees structure.
As this is agricultural faculty, there are a lot of animals in the faculty.
Some labs are not well published for the students to perform experiments.

Course Curriculum Overview

I choosed this course because i have interest in the field of agriculture. There are 60 students in one batch and we have 8-10 good teachers with high qualifications. We have good teachers in our faculty with the phd degrees and they teach with modern method by using smart board. We used to have mid term and end term exams with the gap of 2 months.

Class Size: 40Course Fees: INR 51500 per year

Internships Opportunities

We get a lot of internship opportunities by our college. Every month we used to go in different krishi vigyan kendrs to have internships. There are different types of internships like animal husbandry

Placement Experience

From last semester of the course students are eligible for the placement. IFFCO Package is like 4-9 lakhs per annum . 60% of students gets placed. My plan is for the higher education after this course.

Fees and Financial Aid

Although we are studying in central university the fees is too high. It should be as low as one can afford to study here. We filed NSP scholarship that we will get soon accordingly. As this course required good amount of time to study , one is not able to do any other job

Campus Life

We get a lot of fest in our college and hostel too. We have a big library in our college or seminar library. We also have Asia's biggest library in our unusual. We have good amenities in classroom like air conditioner, smart board , smart chairs,etc

Hostel Facilities

In our hostel room we get enough space to live with a fan and bed. The quality of mean is moderate and get different type of food daily. There is not separate registration for hostel. At the time of filling of application form for the entrance exam one can apply for hostel also.

Hostel Fee: INR 1500 per year

Admission

For this course one should be at the age of maximum 24 and should have completed 12th class in biology or agriculture field. To find the application form you should go to google and search for AMU controller . Improvement i want to see in the admission process is that the result of entrance exam should be declared as soon as possible .

Placement Experience:

Students get placed in starting of 4th year that is 7th semester. The companies that often visit are pradhan co.pvt.ltd, seed companies and drone companies also companies like Nestle and britannia visit for placements. Highest ctc in 2025 was 19LPA and the avg was 7.5 LPA these data are also available on nirf site. Nearly 30% students get placed because remaining prefer higher studies over placement, those who are financially weak consider placement. My plans are different, I'm preparing for CAT and want to persue mba in agribusiness management from iim ahmedabad or iim lucknow.

A Glimpse of Life in Aligarh Muslim University

I chose this college mainly because of the less fees structure and the greenary campus , a good place to study.Moreover, I'm preparing for govt exams also, so the time needed during M.tech. is enough to focus on exams too. Also, I don't want any gap between the study and job as we have to justify later during interview (the year gaps , if any). Moreover , lot of opportunities are also possible in foreign countries too , and we are also eligible for Assistant professor post (if any).
